Spencer Pratt thanks UK fans for ‘having Speidi’s back’ as Heidi Montag’s viral single soars to top of iTunes charts after LA fire destroyed couple’s family home

Spencer Pratt expressed gratitude towards UK fans, as they helped push his wife Heidi Montag’s popular song to the number one spot on iTunes charts, following the devastating loss of their family home in the LA fires.

38-year-old former star of The Hills and her 41-year-old husband had to leave their $2.5 million residence this past week due to a fire in the Palisades that started on Tuesday, ultimately destroying their home entirely.

After the destruction, Spencer has been urging fans to stream Heidi’s popular 2010 song ‘I’ll Do It’, as a means to provide financial aid for her and her family.

On Sunday evening, Spencer shared his appreciation on TikTok: “Wow, my supporters across the ocean are amazing! They’re helping Speidi reach number one on iTunes.

He quipped, “You realize, I suspect the British are likely at the pub, enjoying a football match and some fish and chips – that’s why it only took them a moment.

However, since the very beginning, the UK has been strongly supportive of Speidi, which adds up to eight top hits in my mind.

He commented: “If there’s anyone from the UK watching on TikTok, I appreciate your support in streaming Heidi’s Superficial album, purchasing it, and helping it reach number one in the UK.

Though I feel like shouting due to the children’s loud noise, I can’t do so as it’s forbidden. Inside, however, I’m on the verge of an uproar, much like an excited and uncontrollable wild animal. Cheers, UK!

Following Spencer’s disclosure, there was a possibility that Pitbull might collaborate on a remix of a song from Heidi’s first album “Superficial.” This album was launched in January 2010, but unfortunately, it failed to gain traction after its release.

Meanwhile, the tune has spread rapidly online and caught the eye of numerous celebrities, even Pitbull himself.

On Sunday, Pratt shared a TikTok video of a fan’s edit that included a brief segment from Pitbull on the song. He urged his followers to tag Pitbull in the post.

The star is asking for Pitbull’s involvement. They really need Pitbull, so could you kindly reach out to him? (or) The star urgently requests Pitbull’s participation. Please help by contacting him.

Later on, he provided a new report through another video, stating, “We have some exciting news. Pitbull’s team is considering if he will make an appearance in ‘I’ll Do It.’

Later on, Spencer acknowledged the fan responsible for the widely popular mashup, saying, “The folks behind Pitbull are currently contemplating including a verse by Pitbull in the remake.

Instead of urging his fans to vocally express their desire for a specific feature on social media so his team would notice and respond favorably, Pitbull, upon seeing the viral video, expressed excitement about the possibility that this could be ‘the one’ he’s been waiting for on his song ‘I’ll Do It’.

He mentioned, “Perhaps we should gift Heidi a platinum plaque, so the one item adorning our freshly constructed home that everyone is assisting us in building here will be Heidi’s platinum plaque. This gesture is solely due to your efforts in making it possible.

On Sunday evening, there were signs indicating that Pratt shared in an update that the collaboration between Pitbull and Montag on their song might be progressing positively.

Outside on the sidewalk, Heidi captured her husband saying something about joining the remix of a song that sounded like it was by Pitbull.

He currently possesses all the files, he confirmed, prompting the TV personality to exclaim, “Is that really true?

Spencer returned a broad grin and responded, “I’m genuinely sincere, and Warner assured us that we can complete the task within a day.

Later on, Heidi asked, “Are you considering yourself a miracle worker?” To which he replied, “Not at the moment. However, if we manage to secure a new home, then certainly, yes. But right now, we are still quite a distance away from that.

15 years ago, Montag’s Superficial album was officially launched, yet it didn’t make it onto any music charts. In its initial week, the album managed to sell roughly a thousand copies as her first studio release.

However, in 2023, “I’ll Do It” became a popular topic on TikTok. More recently, it resurfaced this week, garnering attention due to the tragic Los Angeles wildfires.

Following its rise to the top position on the iTunes chart, Heidi expressed her thanks to her supporters with a heartfelt message.

I’m deeply grateful for your heartfelt appreciation and unwavering encouragement of my music. In these challenging times, your steadfast support has made it all the more rewarding and blessed.

She expressed her gratitude by saying, ‘I appreciate your assistance in our recovery, your efforts to bolster us, your encouragement that gave us hope and faith during challenging times. Thank you very much for everything.’

Regarding the album “Superficial” being released on January 11, 2010, the star exclaimed, “This marks the 15-year anniversary for Superficial, and I can’t believe it! It’s absolutely insane. Thank you!

Various celebrities, like Emily Ratajkowski, the renowned supermodel, have expressed their backing for Heidi and Spencer by tuning into their song across various social media platforms.

In her living room, as she enjoyed the album, she scribbled, ‘I didn’t imagine a Heidi Montag track would accompany the 2025 apocalypse, but hey, who knew? Let’s roll with it!’

Perez Hilton also got in on the act, posting a clip of himself dancing to Heidi’s music.

Listening to Heidi Montag’s music can assist her and Spencer Pratt in rebuilding their home after the fire in Los Angeles. Give Heidi Montag a spot on your playlists and tune in! #Speidi #PacificPalisades

And Spencer’s online support for Heidi’s music has not gone unnoticed by social media users.

One user on Twitter posted, ‘For most of my Saturday, I’ve been following Spencer Pratt closely, and guess what? He successfully convinced the entire TikTok/Instagram community to stream Heidi’s latest album, helping it reach chart success. What an amazing partner he is!’

One exclaimed, ‘If your partner doesn’t stand by you as faithfully as Spencer Pratt stands by Heidi Montag, then he may not be the right one for you.’

The pair notably tied the knot in 2008 and share two children: Gunner, seven, and Ryker, two.

As Montag’s 2010 album garnered attention, both Montag and Spencer have been actively working on a potential new television deal, aiming to secure financial aid following the loss of their home due to fires.

In 2017, they purchased a house in Pacific Palisades for $2.5 million, but due to recent events, they were forced to vacate it. This unfortunate incident added their residence to the growing list of celebrity homes that have been damaged or destroyed.

Spencer has been openly documenting their harrowing experience on social media platforms, detailing their ordeal from witnessing their house fire to sifting through the remains in search of salvaged items.

On Saturday, he shared on TikTok that he and his team are working hard to secure a television project. He mentioned they have an important meeting with Hulu on Monday, and asked fans to actively request a new “Speidi” series on Hulu’s social media platforms.

On Monday, Hulu’s social media team contacted Spencer and proposed, “It’s advisable to create a new docuseries for Heidi and Spencer, focusing on their lives’ reconstruction and rebuilding their home from the ruins.” Spencer responded cheerfully.

Exhibiting his unadulterated sincerity and heartfelt interactions with Heidi have ignited a wave of enthusiastic backing from fans.

Previously, Heidi revealed that she now owns just ‘two sets of jeans and two tops’, as she and her husband Spencer had to abruptly leave their residence in Pacific Palisades.

After massive fires broke out in a high-end neighborhood popular among celebrities, the family (consisting of the parents and their two children) left the property. Subsequent photos revealed that their home had been damaged beyond repair by the blaze.

The fires began on Tuesday amid strong winds – and include the Palisades and Eaton Fire.

According to the Los Angeles Times, as of Sunday, the Palisades fire has scorched over 23,700 acres and is presently 13% under control.

The Eaton Fire located near Altadena and Pasadena has burned 14,117 acres and is 27% contained.

Approximately 12,000 buildings – such as houses, schools, and places of worship – have been devastated by the disastrous fires. The number of fatalities has reached 24, as reported on Sunday.

As a die-hard enthusiast, I can’t help but share this meteorological tidbit: Brace yourselves for another bout of high winds! They’re set to ramp up starting midweek, with a peak on Wednesday. Some gusts could potentially soar as high as an impressive 70mph – hang onto your hats, folks!

Many local inhabitants and celebrities, including Anthony Hopkins, Paris Hilton, Jeff Bridges, Billy Crystal, Joshua Jackson, Eugene Levy, and Miles Teller, have unfortunately found themselves without their homes.
