Spencer Pratt looks distraught as he watches horrific Pacific Palisades fire engulf his home with Heidi Montag
Sadly, Spencer Pratt and his spouse Heidi Montag have suffered a devastating loss as their house was engulfed by the destructive wildfire currently raging through the Pacific Palisades area of Los Angeles.
41-year-old Pratt was photographed observing a fast-approaching wildfire nearing his residence, located in an area known for numerous high-profile homes, including his own, which are all potentially threatened by the fire.
According to sources, the home of Spencer and Heidi was fully consumed by a fire that broke out on Tuesday.
Thankfully, the family, consisting of a couple and their two children, managed to leave safely ahead of time during the day, before the fire approached them too closely.
However, they are said to be distraught by the staggering loss.
Spencer shared a video on his Instagram Stories, capturing the efforts of firefighters trying to control a fire, as an aircraft released water onto a neighboring hillside in the footage.
Standing upon a hillside, heart pounding with anticipation, I gaze at the ominous flames swiftly closing in, my eyes fixed upon them like a magnet. There, among the crowd of concerned onlookers, stands Spencer, his expression etched with solemnity. And there, too, is a figure who bears an uncanny resemblance to the man I’ve long admired as his father. The scene unfolds before me, a vivid tableau of emotions and uncertainty, as we all wait for the impending drama to unfold near the home of my beloved couple.
A cast member from “The Hills” (the TV show), sporting a black graphic tee, olive-green shorts, and black sneakers, appeared to wipe his eyes at a certain moment, perhaps due to bothersome smoke or airborne particles.
The roar of the winds that have fueled the fires overwhelmed the clip’s audio at times.
I, standing among a group, was calling out for everyone to leave right away, sensing the imminent danger of the encroaching flames. However, my warnings fell on deaf ears as some among us seemed unperturbed, instead choosing to laugh it off.
Spencer, situated among shrubs and succulents on a wooden walkway, was captured on camera using his phone to record the flames.
It’s still uncertain how far-reaching the damage is, but it’s probable that other houses in Spencer and Heidi’s neighborhood have been impacted by the wildfire.

On Tuesday, actor James Woods posted a video of the fire on his Instagram account, simultaneously informing his followers that he was leaving due to the situation.
In this sparsely inhabited region, a wildfire has spread over more than 1,200 acres, primarily because it’s dotted with vast celebrity homes nestled among vegetation-covered hillsides. This setting provides ample combustible material for the fire, unlike urban areas with higher population densities located further inland.

According to Katherine E. Fleming, President and CEO of the J. Paul Getty Trust, they have been diligently working on removing vegetation around the Getty Villa as a precautionary measure against fires during the entire year, as part of their fire prevention initiatives.
She mentioned that certain trees and foliage at the location were affected by fire, however, the team and their assets are secure.
