Space Marine 2 Trygon Update Is Out, Adds New Mission, Weapon, and More

Developer Saber Interactive has released the Trygon Update for Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine II.

This piece of information is sure to bring joy to individuals who take pleasure in blasting countless bug-like extraterrestrials, all the while donning armor that seems more suited for giants.

The update features several cool things. The description reads:

In the update for Space Marine 2, you’ll find a fresh Player vs Environment (PvE) mission titled “Exfiltration” and a new adversary to defeat – the Trygon. Additionally, the Inferno Pistol has been added to the weapon collection, along with two aesthetic downloadable content packs: The Imperial Fists Champion Pack and the Space Wolves Chapter Pack!

“Several quality-of-life improvements were also added to the game.”

13 years since I last played it, Space Marine has returned to my gaming world, and oh boy, it delivers! More gory violence, hordes of enemies that make your heart race, and most importantly, refined combat mechanics that are just fantastic. It might not bring anything new to the table, but who needs innovation when it does what it does so well? Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 is a welcome return, and I couldn’t be happier!
