Soul Legend Stevie Wonder to Headline BTS Hyde Park 2025

This year’s main act at the BTS Hyde Park event is no one else but the renowned soul artist, Stevie Wonder.

He will take to the stage in front of thousands alongside a lineup that includes other megastars like Sabrina Carpenter and Olivia Rodrigo.

Wonder, 74, will appear as part of the LOVE, LIGHT & SONG UK performances on July 12, with tickets set to go on sale at 10am GMT on Friday 21, March.

Keen fans can start buying tickets from the Amex presale, which starts at 10am GMT on Monday, 17 March.

Some of Wonder’s many hits include Isn’t She Lovely? and I Just Called To Say I Love You.

In 1963, at the tender age of 12, the musician earned the title of youngest artist ever to reach number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart with his song Fingertips.

Wonder’s glittering career has seen him collaborate with music legends like the late Michael Jackson and Paul McCartney.

He has had a staggering 32 number-one singles and sold over 100 million albums worldwide.

On July 12th, he’s set to make his third appearance on the Hyde Park stage. Previously, he graced the Great Oak Stage on two separate occasions.

The eagerly awaited event showcases, in its entirety, Olivia Rodrigo (on the 27th of June), Zach Bryan (on the 28th and 29th of June), Noah Kahan (on the 4th of July), Sabrina Carpenter (on the 5th and 6th of July) and Jeff Lynne’s ELO (on the 13th of July).

The venue has a mega capacity of 65,000 people, making it London’s largest live music venue.

Exciting news regarding one of the city’s most anticipated music events will be shared soon.

The headliners are joined by other artists on a series of smaller stages throughout the festival which features a funfair and many food and drink options.

BTS Hyde Park had a similarly impressive line-up in 2024, featuring a mixture of both current megastars and true music legends like Stevie Nicks, who coincidentally also took to the stage on July 12.

News of Wonder’s headlining spot at BTS Hyde Park comes after it was claimed that he was in advanced talks to also headline Glastonbury this year.

A source told The Sun: ‘Emily was so close to securing Stevie last year. The deal was basically done and his name was put on to the draft posters.

‘When it fell apart because of his schedule, it was a nightmare for everyone involved – and Stevie was gutted.

There’s a possibility that he might return to headline the Pyramid Stage during the upcoming summer. Discussions about this are still being held.

TopMob has previously contacted Wonder’s representatives for comment.

Tickets for BTS Hyde Park start at £79.95 plus booking fees.
