LRGame Inc. has finally unveiled their long-awaited open-world MMORPG, titled “Soul Land: New World”. This exciting game can now be played on both mobile devices and personal computers. For those unfamiliar with it, “Soul Land: New World” is the first authorized open-world MMORPG derived from the Soul Land IP. In this tutorial, we will delve into the fundamentals of Soul Cards in “Soul Land: New World”, discussing topics such as resonance, potential, and advanced tactics. Additionally, you can redeem certain codes to secure starting advantages within the game or consult our beginner’s guide if you are a novice player.
Soul Land: New World Soul Cards Overview
Soul Cards significantly enhance the strength of your Main Character (MC). Apart from Summoning Soul Cards, you can acquire many Soul Cards through Soul Land Famous Figures, Team Trials, and Heart Shadow Trials. The quality of Soul Cards ranges from R to UR. By using certain Soul Cards, you can upgrade your cards from R all the way up to UR. Each Soul Card comes with basic attributes, bond attributes, and additional attributes.

- Base Attributes: Fixed attributes unique to each Soul Card.
- Bond Attributes: Unlocked by completing bond missions specific to each Soul Card.
- Extra Attributes: This can be refined by consuming Life Essence. If you roll a desirable attribute, you can lock it, but further refinement will consume additional Life Essence.
Resonance
As I dive into this new gaming adventure, two “Soul Card Wheels of Bond, Friendship, and Growth” will be at my disposal from day one. As I advance through the game, more wheels of bond will open up. A simple tap on a wheel reveals its resonance effects. The attributes of my Soul Cards are divided into five branches: Attack, Agility, Control, Support, and Defense. Arming myself with Soul Cards that align with the attributes required by the Wheel of Bond triggers these resonance effects.

In a single ‘Wheel of Bond’, only one card with the same name may be attached. However, multiple identical cards can be attached to separate ‘Wheels of Bond’. Each ‘Wheel of Bond’ offers unique attributes due to the Soul Cards equipped, allowing you to customize your Soul Card arrangement to maximize the effects that suit your strategy best.
Soul Land: New World Soul Cards SSR Guide and Tips
It’s advisable to take your time when enhancing your cards to higher levels, particularly if you’re a free player or have a limited budget. The goal is to maximize your resources and make sure each upgrade is valuable. To begin with, prioritize using SSR (Super Rare) cards. You can opt for free SSR cards or EX SSRs if they are obtainable. SSR cards are simpler to boost, requiring fewer materials in the process.
Upgrading SSR cards to UR might seem simple, but the costs associated with additional refinement and enhancement can quickly add up. These costs may prove challenging for free-to-play players or casual spenders. When selecting SSR cards, it’s essential to keep in mind three primary types available:
- Bad SSR cards (low limit score, no bonus attributes).
- Good SSR cards (decent limit score with some bonus attributes).
- Best SSR cards (high limit scores and EX attributes).
To optimize your resources, refrain from using subpar SSR (Super Rare) cards for no benefit. Instead, utilize them to enhance your superior or top-tier SSR cards. Typically, superior SSR cards come with added advantages such as a 3% critical hit rate. On the other hand, inferior SSR cards lack these bonus attributes. Investing in poor cards for development will eventually lead to wasted materials because their capabilities are limited.
For beginners, it’s fine to use lower-tier SSR cards temporarily until you can get better ones. Once you have high-quality SSR cards, switch to them for faster progress as they offer higher limit scores and superior stats. As for upgrading from SSR to UR:
Consider the following:

- Upgrading UR cards introduces randomness in bonus attributes, unlike SSR cards, where certain bonuses are guaranteed.
- UR cards may lose some of the bonus stats you could get with SSR cards upgraded to higher levels, like +16.
- The materials required for UR upgrades are costly and difficult to obtain, making it critical to choose the right cards to upgrade.
In essence, enhancing an SSR card that comes with a fixed 4.2% critical damage to UR may result in just a 2% critical damage due to the unpredictability of stats. This reduction means it’s more advantageous to keep using SSR cards for longer before moving on to UR ones. When you eventually choose to advance to UR, prioritize quality or top-tier SSR cards as your foundation. Cards with lower performance (such as limit scores and stat improvements) should not be used because their potential is significantly less.
Upgrading various SSR cards may require identical materials, but the results significantly vary, which emphasizes the importance of prioritizing quality over haste. Furthermore, customize your card configurations according to your preferred playstyle. For instance, when focusing on PvE (exploring dungeons or battling monsters), concentrate on cards that enhance damage or survivability. Conversely, in PvP (player versus player), prioritize stats such as critical hit rate and burst damage. Experimenting with different card combinations for distinct modes can also aid in refining your strategy.
Soul Land: New World Soul Cards UR Guide and Tips
In the game, you’ll encounter several kinds and grades of Ultra Rare (UR) cards. These UR cards can be divided into three groups: standard UR, superior UR, and exceptional UR, with the latter being the top-tier. Standard and superior UR cards are often enhancements from Super Rare (SSR) cards, but exceptional UR cards boast notably improved characteristics and performance.
The main distinction between these stages is found in their level of detail and characteristics. Top-grade UR cards can experience attribute enhancements up to approximately 5.5%, whereas regular UR cards generally achieve around 4%. Since the resources needed for refinement at every level are identical, it’s not cost-effective to put a lot into standard UR cards as they don’t offer enough value relative to their more advanced counterparts.

Players may resort to employing regular Ultra Rare (UR) cards on a temporary basis when needed. It’s more advisable to conserve resources for higher-tier cards if your goal is long-term effectiveness. When enhancing a card’s “Soul Flame” attributes, the prerequisites vary based on the card’s quality. Common Ultra Rare (UR) cards activate only a single basic attribute, like endurance or defense, whereas superior cards activate multiple attributes, including additional random ones that offer extra benefits.
To activate these traits, you may have to make certain compromises, like employing identical cards of the same kind. For UR cards that are exceptionally powerful, the demands become more stringent, necessitating multiple duplicates and extra resources. It’s crucial for players to strategically allocate these enhancements. As an illustration, to fully utilize some cards, you need to elevate them to a particular stage, usually Level +20.

Considerable traits, such as Vitality or Durability, boost the card’s abilities and are essential for fine-tuning a character according to particular roles (for example, defense or offense). Prior to improving a card, verify its potential to make sure it aligns with your objectives. Poor resource allocation can result in ineffective upgrades and wasted resources.
In the process of fine-tuning character traits, it’s wise for players to secure any appealing characteristics to prevent their loss during subsequent adjustments. If a card’s initial attributes are not strong, it would be advantageous to swap them out until more robust ones are acquired. As cards reach an upgrade level of +8 or beyond, additional attribute slots will randomly open up, offering further enhancement potential for the cards.
Navigating Between SSR and UR Soul Cards
The secret to succeeding in this game lies in being patient. Take your time to advance, improving your SSR cards to +16 or even +20 as you gather materials. It’s essential to prioritize obtaining and enhancing quality SSR cards before focusing on UR ones. This method helps reduce resource waste and guarantees consistent progress.
As a savvy gamer, I make sure to meticulously handle my cards, resources, and enhancements to maximize my account without unwarranted spending or hurdles. High-tier cards provide superior choices, but there’s always room for improvement until I achieve the desired traits. It’s crucial to align my strategy with my character’s requirements and the resources at hand. This thoughtful approach guarantees a smoother and more productive journey in the game.
