SOREL’s Callsign Horizon™ Low GTX Was Born of the Arctic and Made to Navigate City Streets

Since 1962, the SOREL Caribou boot has evolved from its practical beginnings into a popular style for everyday wear. Originally created in Ontario, Canada, to tackle harsh winter conditions, the boot quickly became known for its durability and all-terrain performance. It was carefully made at the Kaufman Rubber Factory using handmade rubber, wool, and high-quality buff leather, built to handle any challenge.

This fall, SOREL is celebrating its history with the new HORIZON™ collection. The line takes inspiration from Ralph Plaisted’s 1968 expedition to the North Pole, during which he wore SOREL’s classic Caribou boots. The collection keeps the iconic Caribou style while adding modern technology and premium details for a fresh, updated look.

The range includes evolved versions of the OG Caribou for men and women. The Callsign Horizon™ Low GTX, the brand’s key Horizon offering, blends the best of both worlds — style and support.

This sneaker is built for comfort and performance with a durable Ortholite® footbed, a grippy Vibram® outsole, and a lightweight, responsive foam midsole. It’s also waterproof thanks to a Gore-Tex® membrane, making it perfect for any weather and any activity – from outdoor adventures to relaxing afterward.

The collection launched on August 26. Explore the Callsign Horizon™ GTX online now.
