Sophie Turner keeps her distance during tense reunion with ex Joe Jonas and his family for daughter’s birthday

Sophie Turner maintained a bit of space during her recent reunion with her former spouse, Joe Jonas, and his family, which took place in celebration of their oldest child’s birthday this week.

On Tuesday, July 22, Turner (aged 29) and Jonas (aged 35) met up in Miami, Florida, for the sake of co-parenting, to celebrate their oldest child Willa’s fifth birthday together.

Apart from Willa, their three-year-old daughter Delphine, who was born jointly on July 14, 2022, is also shared by their exes. They recently celebrated Delphine’s birthday.

Turner and Jonas seldom appear together in public events following their high-profile divorce in 2023, an event that was concluded the previous year.

On Tuesday, the gathering was not only significant but also the occasion where Turner, fresh from reigniting her relationship with Peregrine Pearson, appeared in public with his family for the first time following their split.

During the reunion, it was observed that the Game of Thrones actress stood separated from Jonas’ brothers and their spouses at one instance, engrossed in a video conversation.

As a dedicated follower, it seems there’s a friendly vibe, even amidst what might appear as tension, since they all keep up with each other on our digital platforms.

For approximately two years now, it appears that Turner and her previous sister-in-law, Priyanka Chopra, have maintained a noticeable distance from one another. Everyone was spotted hanging out at Joe’s condo in Miami, unwinding on the balcony while savoring evening cocktails under the radiant Florida sky.

Jonas family members, including Jonas himself, Nick Jonas, their wives Priyanka Chopra and Danielle Jonas respectively, were observed socializing and playing on a section of the balcony while engaging in conversation.

Turner remained at the opposite end, on the distant corner of her former partner’s balcony alone, chatting on the phone while catching up with someone.

On the occasion of Willa’s birthday celebration, the mother of two exuded timeless elegance while donning a sleek, full-length black maxi dress.

Her loose, strawberry-blonde hair was gathered casually into a ponytail, and she seemed to have minimal or no makeup on, basking in the sunlight without much adornment.

As a devoted father, I donned a stylish gray graphic tee, teaming it with crisp white denim jeans and completing the look with a sleek black baseball cap.

Additionally, his brothers’ wives were dressed in a similar relaxed and comfortable style for the event.

His younger brother Nick, 32, wore a dark button-down shirt paired with matching shorts.

As an unabashed admirer, let me share that at 43, Chopra dazzled in a chic black-and-white, striped jumpsuit, paired with stylish white cat-eyed sunglasses – her summer outfit was nothing short of captivating!

Previously, Jonas filed for divorce from his then-wife Turner after four years of marriage in 2023.

Since their separation, she has been romantically linked to Peregrine ‘Perry’ Pearson. 

More recently, there had been talk that she and her noble partner had ended their relationship after two years, only to rekindle their love a few weeks afterwards.

Most recently, they were spotted together at Glastonbury.

On July 9th, as reported by People, they were recently observed showing a heartwarmingly affectionate behavior, which included a sweet kiss, in the city of London.

Only a few days prior, Turner was seen alongside her former spouse – marking their initial public appearance together since their split of two years ago.

According to Complex, a video taken by fans shows the couple engaged in conversation while walking down a street in New York City, without their children being present.

The A-listers wed in 2019 before splitting four years later. 

In September 2023, the ex-Disney star initiated a divorce proceeding, leading to a bitter and publicized court dispute between them.
