The family adds: ‘We will miss him always.’

Sophie shared in 2021 that her father, who will be turning 57 next week, has been battling Parkinson’s for quite some time. She expressed that this disease is truly dreadful. However, she admires how he handles it so admirably. Despite the challenges, he remains positive and resilient with his characteristic kindness and humor.

Towards the end of that year, she accomplished a charitable run, which I sponsored, in aid of a Parkinson’s foundation. I told my dad, ‘Thank you for your affection and encouragement. You are amazing. This race is dedicated to you.’

Currently, the presenter is a mother of three: Ella, Oliver, and Georgia, who are all accompanied by their father, real estate agent Richard Winter.

After the birth of Ella, she shared insights on how her bond with her parents, particularly her mother, Jenny, had grown stronger and deeper.

She pointed out that having kids significantly alters the dynamic between you and your parents. Now, we’re spending so much more time with them. My mom finds it hard to be away from Ella for more than just a couple of days straight.

Regarding her ‘ideal weekend’, she mentioned that she would unwind with one of her father’s signature cappuccinos, savoring its froth, as the grandparents entertain Ella.

Sophie’s younger sibling, Kate Raworth, is a well-known economist, who developed the ‘doughnut economic’ concept.
