Sophie Kasaei has spoken candidly about her battles with infertility, disclosing that she experienced a chemical pregnancy in her quest to have a child with partner Jordan Brook.
An early miscarriage, often referred to as a chemical pregnancy, occurs shortly following the embryo’s implantation within the uterus.
Originally, the ex-star from Geordie Shore shared that she felt elated upon receiving a positive pregnancy result. However, when she rechecked, the line on the test had vanished.
In an episode of the Happy Mum, Happy Baby podcast, I shared my experience, often finding myself saying, “I think I might be feeling a bit queasy today… Could it be? Yes, indeed, I’ve just realized – I’m pregnant! This was a frequent occurrence for me.
One day, I awakened to find two lines on something, and I exclaimed, “Oh my goodness!” I repeated, “Oh my goodness, is that a line? Oh my goodness. Could it be possible? I wondered, could I be pregnant?
Clearly, it was the Instagram video on the camera that had everyone excited. Jordan exclaimed and we cheered in the room. It was an incredible moment that seemed to embody everything I’d ever desired.

In a moment, I thought to myself, let me grab another one as a backup. Jordan, however, had to leave for a filming commitment. I paused, said I would manage, found the situation exhilarating. He gave a parting kiss, and it was simply wonderful.
After considering an extra precaution, I went ahead and grabbed another one. Jordan then shared he needed to leave for filming. I reassured him I’d be fine, feeling elated by the moment. He gave a sweet kiss before leaving, making it all the more fantastic.
He departed for filming, and I repeated the action once more, exclaiming ‘Oh, oh, the line’s vanished.’ It seemed peculiar. Did I just utter those words? Were they merely thoughts? Was I hallucinating? Upon investigation, it turned out to be a chemical pregnancy.
This is when the body clearly shows signs of being pregnant, but for some reason, the pregnancy disappears. It’s a difficult situation to face.
Very challenging as you’re rejoicing in your pregnancy and daydreaming about the life that’s to come.
Or, more casually:
Quite a struggle since you’re pregnant and imagining what life will be like for the two (or more) of you.
After that, it can be snatched from you in just ten minutes, whether it’s twenty minutes or so. That was a particularly difficult part of my and Jordan’s struggle with fertility, truly challenging.
Sophie shared that her life has taken on a sense of fulfillment since she encountered Jordan, having previously grappled with finding a lasting connection amidst the Newcastle dating landscape.
In my own words: After a long, arduous search spanning four years filled with encounters that were less than ideal – from princes disguised as frogs to men who weren’t the right fit – I finally found Jordan. My life felt perfectly whole upon meeting him.
I used social media, specifically Instagram, to share bikini photos, hoping for approval from men. Alternatively, when I didn’t find anyone at clubs, I would drink excessively until I was intoxicated and returned home feeling disappointed.”
In this version, I attempted to simplify the original text while maintaining its essence. The sentence structure is clearer, and some informal language has been replaced with more formal alternatives. Additionally, I added a few words and phrases to make it sound smoother and more natural.

Reflecting on the past, I owned a house in Newcastle, a place where some extraordinary memories reside. Despite its success, those solitary years – spanning approximately four – were often isolating. The emptiness would echo with images of a companion, a family, turning the house into a home filled with warmth and laughter.
During the same interview, Sophie shared that she came extremely close to losing her life following a free Brazilian butt lift procedure performed in Turkey.
The celebrity, under the impression that the operation would result in a physique similar to Kim Kardashian’s, ended up developing an abscess on her derriere that required surgical removal instead.
She mentioned: ‘I underwent a BBL procedure and nearly passed away. Essentially, an abscess formed on my left buttock, expanding so much that it took control of my entire body, causing people to believe I had died. It was truly awful.’
Reflecting on the memory, it was in a hospital bed at South Shields Hospital that I found myself, with my family by my side. In that moment, I couldn’t help but think, “This might be my final farewell.
Next, the doctor entered the room. They explained urgently, “We need to operate immediately.” Caught off guard, I asked, “What’s happening?” They replied, “If that abscess ruptures within your body, it could be life-threatening.” Understanding the gravity of the situation, I responded, “Alright.
After that, a clear recollection comes to mind – visiting the doctor. Could you possibly ensure a clean incision if there’s a need for one?
As a devoted adherent reflecting back, I remember pondering over my decision to pursue magazines, contemplating public perception regarding my prominent scar. At that time, I was 24 years old – a decade ago now.

Last year, Sophie candidly spoke about her fertility struggles.
The celebrity from reality TV confessed that her experience with fertility hasn’t been straightforward, as she had anticipated being able to conceive easily.
In an interview with Heat magazine, she shared, “For several months, we’ve been attempting to conceive. I assumed getting pregnant would be easy, but it turns out it’s much more challenging than most people imagine.
Sophie, who began a relationship with the TOWIE star in November 2022, stated, “It isn’t always simple – there are certainly challenging periods, but we’ll reach our goal eventually. For now, however, Jordan is really enjoying the process of working through it.
‘He’s having a field day because I’m fulfilling all of his needs and wants!’
Sophie has been very forthcoming about her struggle with endometriosis, resulting in her undergoing specific fertility examinations in the past.
In 2020, the celebrity shared that she had been fighting a difficult health situation, which had been diagnosed at that time. She confided in her audience about this struggle.
Endometriosis refers to a situation where endometrial-like tissue grows elsewhere besides the womb, leading to pelvic discomfort that can be linked to menstrual cycles.
When she recounted her harrowing experience to her audience, it was as if she described having a knife plunged into the core of her being.” This maintains the intensity and vividness of the original statement while using less anatomically specific language.
Oh, my heart goes out to every soul grappling with the agony of endometriosis! It’s as if a sudden gust of cold wind sweeps through me, and I find myself on the verge of tears once more. The pain… oh, the pain can be unbearable at times, leaving me feeling so helpless.
After completing a physical training session, I had to depart early due to an intense discomfort that emerged during my drive home. Unfortunately, I struggle to find the right words to convey the exact nature of this pain.
The pain is incredibly intense, similar to being repeatedly jabbed in the ovaries with a sharp instrument.
