PlayStation Mobile has released its new multiplayer shooter, Ratchet & Clank: Ranger Rumble, on Android and iOS in France, Norway, Denmark, Sweden, and Finland. This follows a limited release in Indonesia and the Philippines. The game, developed by Oh Bibi – the studio behind BEAST: Bio Exo Arena Suit Team – is now available for pre-registration worldwide.

Jump into fast-paced PvP battles with your favorite characters

Players in France and a few other countries can now experience Ratchet & Clank: Ranger Rumble, a quick-action arena shooter inspired by the popular Ratchet & Clank series. You can play alone or join forces with friends and other players online for fast-paced, competitive platforming battles featuring your favorite characters.

The game features a brand new story where you play as a Galactic Ranger. What really stands out is how fluid the movement is – you can dash, double jump, slide on rails, and even run on walls throughout the levels. As a long-time fan of the series, I especially enjoyed revisiting familiar places like Megalopolis and Torren IV; it brought back a lot of good memories.

You can experiment with diverse weapons and characters across vibrant arenas

Battles are surprisingly fun, with over 20 unusual weapons to experiment with, like the Discozigzag and the Apocalypse Gauntlet. You can also choose from 10 different heroes, such as Lombax, each with unique abilities – they can even turn enemies into sheep! Plus, you can recruit and improve these heroes as you play.

Based on the initial response to the game’s launch, it seems worth checking out. It features fast-paced multiplayer action, colorful 3D environments, recognizable characters, leaderboards, regularly updated content, and plenty of customization options. There are also various game modes, including a competitive mode for up to six players.

Ratchet & Clank: Ranger Rumble is now available to download on Android and iOS devices in France, Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Indonesia, and the Philippines. Players in those countries can get the game from the Google Play Store or App Store. Everyone else can sign up for pre-registration on the game’s website.
