Sony’s Astro Bot DualSense controller: Where to pre-order

Sony’s Astro Bot DualSense controller: Where to pre-order

As a seasoned gamer with years of experience under my belt, I can’t help but feel a pang of excitement upon hearing about the limited edition Astro Bot DualSense controller. The PlayStation mascot has always held a special place in my heart, and the thought of adding this unique controller to my collection is truly enticing.

On September 6, the latest installment of Astro Bot, which is the official PlayStation mascot’s second major game, will be released. In celebration, Sony is introducing a special edition DualSense controller inspired by the bot with its distinctive blue eyes. Pre-orders for this $79.99 controller can be placed starting August 8, and it will be up for grabs from PlayStation and selected retailers prior to the game’s launch on September 6.

The custom controller boasts handles and buttons with vibrant blue accents, alongside intricate sci-fi carvings embellishing the grips and surrounding the analog sticks. A notable innovation is the integration of two expressive blue eyes in the touchpad’s center. Although these eyes don’t adapt to your gaming actions, their inclusion adds a peculiar emotional depth to this otherwise unfeeling accessory.

As an avid gamer and a proud owner of the new limited edition controller, I’m thrilled about its fresh design. But that’s not all! This special edition controller comes with all the amazing features I love in the standard DualSense controller. It boasts motion controls, allowing me to interact with games in a more immersive way. The haptic feedback brings textures to life, making my gaming experience feel incredibly realistic. And let’s not forget about the adaptive triggers that simulate tension and resistance, adding an extra layer of realism to my favorite games.

We don’t have the new controller up for pre-sale at the moment, but we’ll keep you posted once it becomes an option.
