Sony Pictures Drops New Trailer for Danny Boyle’s Horror ’28 Years Later’

As a hardcore gamer, I’m pumped to share that the long-awaited second trailer for Danny Boyle’s post-apocalyptic horror flick, “28 Years Later,” has dropped! Sony Pictures has unveiled this thrilling sneak peek, transporting us back into a United Kingdom overrun by the infected undead. Penned by Alex Garland and directed by Boyle, it’s the third installment in the series, following “28 Days Later” and “28 Weeks Later.” Can’t wait to dive back into this chilling world!

Nearly three decades have passed since the rage virus leaked from a top-secret lab. The world is now under strict quarantine due to this outbreak. On a small island linked to the mainland by a heavily guarded bridge, a group of survivors has learned to survive. However, when one member ventures into the heart of the mainland on a mission, they uncover hidden truths, mysteries, and terrors that have altered not only the infected, but also other survivors in unexpected ways.

The movie features Jodie Comer, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Ralph Fiennes, Jack O’Connell, and Alfie Williams as its main actors. Cillian Murphy, who was part of the initial film, is set to serve as executive producer for the upcoming sequel; however, it remains undecided if he will make a guest appearance.

28 Years Later premieres in theaters on June 20.
