As a long-time Sonic fan who’s been through countless loops with our blue blur, this news about Sonic x Shadow Generations has me jumping for joy! I remember playing the original Sonic Generations back in 2011 and it was a blast to revisit those classic stages and zip through the modern levels.
SEGA has officially released Sonic x Shadow Generations, and global sales have surpassed the one-million mark.
This new Sonic game offers a combination of experiences. It includes a remastered version of the 2011 game known as “Sonic Generations”, which blends classic 2D levels for the original Sonic with modern 3D stages. Additionally, it features an entirely new game titled ‘Shadow Generations’, where Sonic’s dark counterpart, Shadow, traverses through intricate 3D landscapes. In this game, Shadow uses special Doom Powers to combat his adversary, Black Doom.
Once again, it’s crucial that you vanquish Black Doom, and in doing so, save the world. The latest adventure featuring Sonic and Shadow, titled Sonic Frontiers & Shadow Collision, is now available on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Take a look at the opening trailer below for a sneak peek!
