Sonic x Shadow Generations Limited Run $250 Collector's Edition Unveiled With Fancy Dreamcast-Inspired Statue

As a longtime Sonic fan who’s been collecting video game memorabilia for over two decades, I can’t help but feel my heart race with excitement at the sight of this Sonic x Shadow Generations Collector’s Edition! The Dreamcast statue alone is enough to make any 90’s kid swoon, and the inclusion of Chaos mini figurines, an artbook, keyrings, soundtrack CD, steelbook case, and a commemorative Dreamcast jewel case just seals the deal.

SEGA and Limited Run Games have unveiled an extensive Sonic x Shadow Generations Collector’s Set, comprising the forthcoming game along with a variety of Sonic merchandise such as a stylish statue showcasing Sonic and Shadow perched on a SEGA Dreamcast.

The Collector’s Edition pre-orders are now active and will remain so until the game hits shelves in October. Inside the collector’s box, you’ll discover a game copy in your preferred format (with the exception of the Steam version which includes a code), the previously mentioned Sonic and Shadow Dreamcast statue, mini figurines of Chaos, an artbook filled with various concept drawings, three keyrings showcasing Sonic and Shadow on shoes, a CD containing the game’s soundtrack, a steel case for the game, and a special Dreamcast jewel case as a keepsake.

On Day One, you’ll get a physical version packed with a Sonic Adventure Skin, Gerald Robotnik’s Journal, and a reversible cover. The game “Sonic x Shadow Generations” is set to release on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Pre-orders for the Collector’s Edition can be made through Limited Run Games until October 6th for $249.99. Delivery is expected in 2025.
