Sonic the Hedgehog 4 has found its Amy Rose.
The 2024 film Sonic the Hedgehog 3, starring Keanu Reeves as the new character Shadow, includes a scene after the credits that hints at Amy Rose’s appearance in a future movie. In this scene, Sonic (voiced by Ben Schwartz) is being pursued by multiple Metal Sonics when Amy Rose unexpectedly arrives to help him. While she appears in the scene, the actress playing Amy Rose has only just been confirmed and she doesn’t have any lines.
Kristen Bell is joining the cast of the upcoming Sonic the Hedgehog movie! According to The Hollywood Reporter, she’ll be the voice of Amy Rose. Idris Elba, James Marsden, and Jim Carrey, who starred in the first movie (released in 2022), are also expected to return for the next installment.
Sonic the Hedgehog 4 will release in theaters on March 19, 2027.
