Sonic the Hedgehog 3 Movie Gets a Second Trailer Featuring Keanu as a Gun-Toting Shadow
As a gamer with decades of experience under my belt, I must say that the upcoming Sonic the Hedgehog 3 movie has me more excited than a Sega Genesis on Christmas morning! The second trailer, featuring Keanu Reeves as the menacing Shadow, has only heightened my anticipation.
Today, Paramount Pictures unveiled a new trailer for the upcoming “Sonic the Hedgehog 3” movie, marking the third installment of this series. In this film, the enigmatic villain ‘ultimate life form’ Shadow will make his debut, with Keanu Reeves lending his voice to the character.
In the newly released preview, we see a greater emphasis on Keanu Reeves’ portrayal of Shadow, engaging in battles with Sonic (voiced by Ben Schwartz). Alongside them, characters Tails (Colleen O’Shaughnessey) and Knuckles (Idris Elba) also make an appearance. As expected, Jim Carrey reprises his role as Doctor Robotnik, while his character’s creator, Gerald Robotnik, is played by someone else in this grand production.
If you haven’t been introduced to Shadow yet, the newly launched game titled “Sonic x Shadow Generations” would be an excellent starting point for you. However, if you prefer a slightly different introduction or want a more in-depth look, you could try playing “Sonic Adventure 2” or searching for an old version of “Shadow the Hedgehog”.
Sonic the Hedgehog 3 will be in cinemas from 20th December, while Keanu Reeves will also be lending his voice as Shadow in a movie DLC for Sonic x Shadow Generations, due on 12th December. Check out the new Sonic the Hedgehog 3 movie trailer below.
