Sonic the Hedgehog 3 is now available to watch at home

You can now enjoy watching “Sonic the Hedgehog 3” at home, as it has broken box office records by becoming the top-earning film in its series.

In simple terms, after being released close to Christmas, the third movie in the series earned over $420 million globally. The plot features Sonic teaming up with Dr. Robotnik under tense circumstances due to the arrival of a menacing new character called Shadow.

If you’re hoping for a theater experience with “Sonic 3”, it’s still playing in cinemas. However, if you’re in the United States, you now have the option to purchase or rent “Sonic 3” on platforms like Amazon Prime Video, iTunes, and other digital retailers.

Sadly, as of now, Sonic 3 hasn’t been made available for digital viewing in the UK by Paramount, and they haven’t announced a digital release date either. For the time being, the movie can be watched exclusively in cinemas across the UK.

In the United Kingdom, it usually takes about two months for films released by Paramount Pictures to become available on digital platforms following their cinema debut. Therefore, we can expect the digital release of Sonic 3 to occur around mid-February.

While waiting, feel free to reserve a copy of “Sonic 3” on Amazon Prime Video and iTunes. That way, you can enjoy watching it immediately upon its release.

Additionally, you have the option to reserve a copy of Sonic 3 on DVD, Blu-ray, and 4K Ultra HD before its official launch in the UK. Similar to the digital edition, Paramount has not yet disclosed a specific date for the physical release.

Even before the release of the third movie, Sonic the Hedgehog 4 was confirmed by Paramount.

As I write this, there’s no set release date yet, but I’m eagerly anticipating that we’ll zoom into movie theaters come Spring 2027!
