As a seasoned gamer with over two decades under my belt, I must admit that the news of Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds has brought a sparkle to my eyes. Having grown up with the blue blur and his pals, it’s always a joy to see new installments in their series. The teaser trailer may have been brief, but just seeing Shadow climbing into his sleek ride got me all nostalgic.
Sega has unveiled a new installment in the Sonic kart racing series titled “Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds“. This is a sequel to 2019’s “Team Sonic Racing” and serves as the fourth major game in this franchise, succeeding “Sonic & All-Stars Racing: Transformed“, and coming after the original game, “Sonic & Sega All-Star Racing“.
Similar to previous installments of the series, Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is set to showcase a diverse cast of characters hailing from the Sonic the Hedgehog universe, such as Shadow, who can be spotted swiftly entering his stylish vehicle in the tantalizingly short teaser clip.
According to the announcement, the game includes a unique racing system designed to take Sonic racing enthusiasts on an exciting journey into uncharted territories. However, they have not yet revealed specific details about this “unique racing system.
As a die-hard fan, I’m thrilled to share that “Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds” is set to roll out on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC! Plus, the Sonic the Hedgehog 3 Movie Pack DLC has just dropped for “Sonic x Shadow Generations”, featuring the legendary Keanu Reeves’ voice. Can’t wait to dive in!
