The host of Big Brother Australia complemented her look with fashionable aviator sunglasses, carrying a chic Jacquemus straw bag along with her rolling suitcase, keeping both hands occupied.
In a relaxed yet sophisticated manner, Sonia walked briskly through the crowded terminal alongside her companion Craig and their nine-year-old child Maggie.
Simultaneously, Craig sported a stylish pink polo shirt along with black pants while standing nearby Sonia, assisting her with the baggage during their anticipated vacation.
The three seemed carefree and eager for some enjoyable family moments, undoubtedly anticipating sunny afternoons and an opportunity to relax following a hectic year.
Sonia and Craig usually prefer to keep their love life low-key, however, she offered a seldom peek into their 16-year relationship this past year.
In July, the television host spoke to Stellar Magazine about Craig’s departure from Channel Seven, where he was the network’s Director of News and Public Affairs for nine years.

Speaking up about the matter at last, Sonia explained why this choice was fitting for their family, considering how they all stand as strong pillars of mutual support.
‘One thing Craig has always been for me – and I for him – is rock solid,’ she shared.
In a field that sometimes changes quickly, it’s essential to have a reliable ally by your side. Without a doubt, we serve as each other’s dependable advocate.
Craig has achieved an extraordinary career… Although he isn’t considering retirement, I believe it’s essential for him to take a break from his intense workload, particularly given that we have a nine-year-old child,” she continued.
At certain moments, she needs his focus, just like me. It turned out to be the perfect moment for him to take a break. I can’t wait to find out what happens next.
‘I’m biased, but he really is one of the best in the business. I know there will be something fun that comes for Craig where he can actually indulge a passion, which is sport. So, who knows?’
The Strictly Ballroom star has previously admitted her romance with Craig was a slow burn.
In a conversation with The Anj, Rob & Robbo Show in the year 2021, Sonia admitted that she and Craig often had intense disagreements when he was her supervisor on the news program Today Tonight. This happened quite a few years before they started their romantic relationship.
She mentioned that he’s quite demanding among his peers. You can attest to this yourself, as he rarely offers compliments to your work. However, any error or oversight is sure to be addressed by him,” she explained.
Later on, Sonia discovered a different aspect of Craig, this happening once she had departed from Today Tonight and was instead hosting Dancing with the Stars.
It came to light that she was in contact with Craig while her father was in the hospital, which eventually brought them closer and initiated their romantic involvement.
She noted that he must have known about it, as he subsequently sent her a thoughtful message. From there, their conversation began, and they rekindled their connection.
