Songs of Conquest is a Pixel Art Turn-Based Strategy Game Coming to Xbox Next Week

As a seasoned strategy game enthusiast with a penchant for pixel art and a soft spot for tales spun in the realm of fantasy, I can hardly contain my excitement over the impending arrival of Songs of Conquest. Having traversed countless realms in games like Heroes of Might and Magic and Age of Wonders, I’m eager to delve into this new tactical adventure that seems to hold promise as a worthy successor to these venerable titles.

In an unexpected twist, the game titled Songs of Conquest developed by Lavapotion and published by Coffee Stain Publishing will be available on Xbox and PlayStation platforms starting next week. Remarkably, this turn-based pixel art strategy game is set to launch just one day after another 4X strategy title named Songs of Silence, an interesting coincidence that has been announced.

A strategic fantasy game similar to Heroes of Might and Magic and Age of Wonders, Songs of Conquest combines turn-based strategy play with managing a kingdom, with players choosing from among four distinct factions. Each faction presents unique hurdles to conquer, strategies to learn, and tales to unfold. The game offers four solo campaigns for exploration, delving into the lore of your chosen faction’s background.

In addition to local and internet play, this game offers a variety of maps, some developed by the creators themselves and others created by the gaming community. For more details, check out the trailer below. The game, Songs of Conquest, is set to launch on Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 on November 12th for $34.99, £29.49, or €33.99.
