Someone Got A Huge King Of Queens Tattoo, And Leah Remini Was Pretty Thrilled
Nowadays, it’s no longer taboo for people of all ages to openly express their loyalty to the fandoms they cherish. From Star Wars and Marvel Cinematic Universe to video games and shows from their youth, these passions are proudly displayed not only on clothes and bumper stickers but also in various creative ways. The latest example of this fervor comes from Leah Remini, the star of “The King of Queens,” who is thrilled to see someone showing off a large tattoo dedication to her beloved comedy series.
What Does The King Of Queens Tattoo Look Like And What Did Star Leah Remini Say About It?
While it’s true that Leah Remini is currently recognized for her advocacy work against the Church of Scientology, she has a long history as an actress that precedes this role. My friendship with Jennifer Lopez goes back a way, and I even learned a thing or two from her when she was filing for divorce. However, it was my role as Carrie Heffernan on the popular CBS sitcom, “The King of Queens,” starting in 1998, that really brought me into the limelight.
The comedy series spanned over nine seasons, concluding in 2007. It’s evident that one ardent fan of the show continues to be enamored, as they recently got an immense tattoo as a tribute. Leah Remini acknowledged their admiration on X.
Wow! It’s astonishing to come across individuals who have dedicated such a significant portion of their body to intricate tattoos based on an old sitcom. I myself am not inked, but even I wouldn’t have predicted such fervor for a series that ended almost two decades ago. The tattoo in question is one of the largest I’ve ever seen, adorning the lower back/hips/thighs area. It seems that Leah Remini shares my surprise and admiration.
Previously known as a judge on “So You Think You Can Dance,” she has been memorialized in ink by a dedicated fan, expressing gratitude and emotion over the piece. To be frank, I’ve come across numerous tattoos that claim to depict real individuals, but rarely do they look this exceptional. Remarkably, both the primary characters (among whom is former meme king Kevin James and the late Jerry Stiller) were rendered with striking realism. Moreover, the logo of the show and the house where the characters resided for almost a decade were also intricately replicated in this artwork.
It’s quite surprising to ponder over the fact that the star could have been excluded from the festivities honoring her work. Interestingly, she mentioned that she was given a chance to try out for “Friends” and “Will & Grace,” but declined both offers as she didn’t feel she fit the roles she was asked to audition for, despite knowing that these shows were likely to become popular hits. In essence, if this actress hadn’t remained committed to being authentic, a fan might have gotten a tattoo of the cast from “Manimal” instead, which would be spectacular, but it wouldn’t acknowledge Remini with the recognition she deserves.
