Fans of need to check out this upcoming anime open world game from the same developer this March.
Netmarble, a South Korean game company, recently revealed a new look at their upcoming action game, which is based on a popular anime series streaming on Netflix. The newest trailer highlights what the game will look like on PlayStation 5, demonstrating the console’s powerful graphics and immersive features.
I’m so excited to share that The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin is officially launching on mobile, PC, and consoles on March 23, 2026! But here’s an awesome bonus – if you’re a PlayStation 5 or Steam player, you’ll get to jump into the open world a whole week early, starting March 16th! I can’t wait!
The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin Reveals New Trailer and Early Access Release Date
The recently released trailer for the Seven Deadly Sins game shows that this anime-based, open-world game makes excellent use of its engine.
As I played, I was really struck by how the PS5’s DualSense controller brought the world of Britannia to life. The haptic feedback let me feel my surroundings, and the adaptive triggers reacted to everything happening on screen – like when things got really intense! It all worked together to make the experience incredibly immersive.
If you enjoy open-world anime games like Genshin Impact or Tower of Fantasy, you’ll likely enjoy The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin. It offers exciting, fast-paced combat alongside more relaxed gameplay. The game also emphasizes teamwork, with real-time co-op raids that challenge players to use both their strategy and power.
The game’s main draw is its connection to the popular Netflix anime, The Seven Deadly Sins, which includes five seasons, an OVA, and three movies. The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin expands on the story by focusing on Tristan Liones, the son of the main characters, while also revisiting key moments from the past through a multiverse storyline. It’s a complete experience, offering glimpses into the past, present, and future of the series.
Netmarble is going all out to launch The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin on various platforms in March.
I’m so excited for the release of The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin! They’re going all out with the promotion – I’ve been seeing reports of huge outdoor ads popping up all over the world! It’s not just here in the US, with spots in places like Downtown Los Angeles and Times Square in New York, but they’re also advertising in South Korea, Japan, the UK, France, Germany, Taiwan, Thailand, Indonesia, and Brazil! It’s a truly global campaign, and it really shows how much they’re backing this new release.
A special event for fans of the anime series The Seven Deadly Sins will be held on March 14, 2026, at L.A. Live in Los Angeles, California. Attendees can try out game demos, participate in themed activities, and take photos inspired by the show. A highlight of the event will be the “50 Elizabeths in L.A.” showcase, featuring 50 cosplayers portraying the character Elizabeth Liones.
A special livestream called “Pre-Launch Livestream ~From Britannia to L.A. Live~” will air right before a celebration for Elizabeth. During the livestream, viewers will learn about key features and rewards in the new game, The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin. Afterward, the event will continue live at L.A. Live, hosted by the popular Twitch streamer LilyPichu.
The open-world game, The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin, will launch on mobile devices (iOS and Android), PC via Steam, and PS5 on March 23, 2026. Players on Steam and PS5 will get to play it a week earlier, starting March 16.
