Sofia Vergara Slammed by Modern Family Co-Star as ‘Rudest Celebrity’

As a devoted admirer putting it in my own words, I’ve always cherished Sofia Vergara, the radiant star who brought Gloria Delgado-Pritchett to life on Modern Family. Lately, I’ve found myself grappling with whispers about her backstage demeanor during the show’s run.

As a devoted fan who had the privilege of guest-starring as a drag queen on Modern Family in 2019 (episode: The Last Halloween), I recently shared insights about collaborating with Lewis Hamilton’s current partner during my interview on The Bald and the Beautiful podcast, hosted by Trixie and Katya.

The actress labeled a 52-year-old Sofia as the most impolite famous person she had met, pointing to her interactions with staff members and an outburst over a wig incident on the filming location.

‘It was not the most pleasant experience I’ve ever experienced,’ Mantle revealed.

‘It wasn’t toward me. It was the way that some of her staff were being treated.’

Kelly shared a story about a supposed occurrence where Sofia refused to use bobby pins to keep her wig in place during a specific scene.

In the show, she was sporting a wig, and they repeatedly suggested using bobby pins on it, but she consistently refused.

The situation became more intense when it’s said that Kelly, who was supposed to put a crown on Sofia during a scene, accidentally offended the actress instead.

In this scenario, when they call out “action,” it means I should place the crown in her hair. Following their instruction, I do so. Then, after they shout “cut,” she warns me to be careful because the crown is actually a wig that she’s wearing on her head.

Kelly reminisced, mentioning that she playfully responded, “You know, lady, you really ought to have used those hairpins.

Kelly acknowledged that the day might have been an off one for the celebrated actress.

It’s possible that today wasn’t great. Let me put it this way: Today wasn’t great. After all, she’s incredibly funny, stunningly attractive, immensely skilled, and breathtakingly beautiful. I can only assume it must have been a difficult day for her.

Sofia, who starred on Modern Family from 2009 to 2020, has not commented on the claims.

It’s been reported that the actress, rumored to be dating racing champion Lewis Hamilton at 40 years old, had a friendly lunch with him in New York City this past week.

For over a decade now, there have been connections made between him and high-profile models like Gigi Hadid, Kendall Jenner, as well as allegations of romantic entanglements with Rihanna that he has consistently refuted.
