Sofia Vergara carries her constant companion Amore in her purse as she steps out after ‘splitting’ from Justin Saliman

As a dedicated follower of celebrity news and someone who has seen more than a few high-profile relationships come and go, it’s always fascinating to watch the love lives of celebrities unfold. Sofia Vergara, a woman I’ve admired for her talent, beauty, and resilience, seems to be going through another chapter in her romantic journey.

On a Monday, Sofia Vergara graced the outside world with her most charming accessory – her delightful Chihuahua puppy named Amore.

Actress from Modern Family, aged 52, was spotted in Los Angeles, carrying a small beige bag containing a black-and-white pup.

In a stylish cornflower blue sweater and loose-fitting white trousers, the Colombian beauty on America’s Got Talent presented an elegant appearance. She accessorized with big stud earrings and let her hair cascade down, keeping it straight.

After parting ways with Joe Manganiello, the striking brunette named Amore affectionately referred to as ‘Sweet Baby Amore’ due to her new Chihuahua companion replacing her former pet Bubbles who they had to let go during the divorce.

This sighting comes soon after she reportedly split from her doctor boyfriend Justin Saliman. 

Following her divorce with the True Blood actor (aged 47), Sofia began a relationship with the orthopedic surgeon based in Los Angeles, named Saliman.

Yet, it appeared she hinted at their split during an interview with Us Weekly when discussing if she believed New York City was a more suitable location for dating compared to Los Angeles.

Absolutely, the day before yesterday we were discussing that topic, as I’ve recently become single, or more accurately, I’m currently in a state of being solo. By the way, she chuckled.

She added, “However, it seems to me that there’s a broader range of individuals in New York compared to L.A., as many are involved in the entertainment industry.

‘Here, you have people from all over the world — architects, writers, actors, businesspeople. 

The duo was first linked back in October 2023 when set up on a blind date by mutual friends. 

During that period, a source revealed to Life & Style that the orthopedic surgeon made a favorable impression on Vergara by arriving for their initial date with flowers and a bottle of her preferred champagne.

A month afterward, they were seen again in Santa Monica, which sparked fan theories that they might be romantically involved.

One of their subsequent outings occurred at the popular Beverly Hills eatery, Funke. According to a different source who spoke to People magazine, Sofia was enjoying her time dating and having a good experience.

After several weeks, the Griselda star publicly acknowledged their relationship by sharing pictures of them as a couple during a family trip to Italy.

Before her current relationship, Sofia had been married to Joe Manganiello for eight years. They ended their marriage in July 2023.

Saliman is no stranger to dating actresses. He wed actress Bree Turner, 47, in 2008. They have a daughter, Stella, 14, and a son, Dean, 12. They divorced in 2018.
