Jess Glynne publicly expressed her affection for her girlfriend, Alex Scott, in a heartfelt social media post on Monday, sharing how much she misses her.

Singer Mabel, 36, playfully said she needed to start looking for an engagement ring after learning on the show I’m A Celebrity that her friend Jess was planning to propose. Alex, 41, had shared this information with the other contestants.

After the recent episode, Jess expressed how deeply she’s fallen for the former footballer, sharing a heartfelt message with her fans.

She reposted a video from the Australian jungle where Alex was discussing why diversity and representation matter in media with her fellow contestants.

Alex emphasized that he doesn’t want to be cast simply to fulfill a character ‘type.’ He wants to earn roles based on his talent and being the most suitable person for the job.

I believe the core issue with revisiting past racism is that opportunities weren’t available to a wide range of people, which severely limited the talent pool.

With these opportunities now available, I want to earn the position based on my qualifications, not simply to fulfill a diversity requirement.

She shared that she really enjoys watching other women discuss and host sports programs on TV.

After the event, Jess shared a message with her nearly 900,000 followers, praising her partner. She wrote, ‘I’m so incredibly proud of this amazing woman – she’s a true leader and inspiration!’

‘Ah I miss you so much,’ she added, along with a love heart emoji.

Oh my gosh, you guys, I remember when Alex talked about this! She was on ITV with Ruby Wax and Shona McGarty, and she basically admitted she was totally hoping Jess would propose! Continuing, Ruby then queried whether marriage would be on the cards for Alex and Jess.

Alex responded: ‘I will get married to her, just waiting for her to ask, Rubes!’

After seeing the latest episode, Jess joked on her Instagram Stories that she needed to start ring shopping.

Alex and their partner began dating in 2023, and Alex’s time on the show will be the longest period they’ve been separated.

Before entering camp, Alex told the Daily Mail that the experience would be challenging for both him and someone else.

She candidly revealed why they waited a long time before making their relationship public .

Alex shared that they and their partner intentionally kept their relationship private at first. They wanted to build a strong connection and understand each other before making it public.
