Snow White’s Box Office Plunge: A Working Man Takes the Crown with $15M Debut!
Over the weekend, Snow White experienced a significant drop in ticket sales at cinemas, while the new action film starring Jason Statham, titled A Working Man, opened strongly and took first place with an earnings of $15.2 million on its premiere.
The disputed Disney movie, representing a live-animated reinterpretation of the 1937 animated masterpiece, earned only $14.2 million at the U.S. box office during its opening weekend, marking a significant drop of 66.4% compared to its previous weekend’s earnings, as reported by Box Office Mojo.
Last week, the movie that cost $250 million to produce took the top position, yet it managed only a moderate $43 million in earnings within U.S. territories.
The movie, often criticized for being overly politically correct, features Rachel Zegler as Snow White in the lead role, while Gal Gadot plays the villainous Queen. Since its debut, it has earned a domestic total of $66,814,583.
In the meantime, The Man of Action Movie, titled so because it hit the screens on March 28 and features Jason Statham as a construction worker who resumes his counter-terrorist duties in search of a kidnapped girl, garnered $15,215,874.
In third position was “The Chosen: The Last Supper – Part 1,” a television series depicting the life of Jesus Christ, which grossed $11,492,369 at the box office. Similar to “A Working Man,” it premiered in theaters on March 28th.

In the end, the lady in the yard finished in 4th position with earnings totaling $9,450,000, and the movie “AR4: Death of a Unicorn” placed 5th with a revenue of $5,787,425.
Or even more casually:
The lady in the yard earned $9,450,000 for coming in fourth place, while the film “AR4: Death of a Unicorn” brought in $5,787,425 and placed fifth.
The Mysterious Presence in the Front Yard – a chilling horror movie
In brief: This movie centers around an enigmatic woman who keeps showing up inexplicably in a family’s front yard, leaving puzzling messages. Starring Danielle Deadwyler and Okwui Okpokwasili, this suspenseful production by Universal Pictures was launched on March 28th.
The movie titled “Death of a Unicorn” features Jenna Ortega, Will Poulter, and Paul Rudd in its cast. The plot revolves around a father-daughter duo who, in an unexpected turn of events, strike a unicorn with their car. They subsequently transport the mythical creature to a remote wilderness sanctuary owned by a wealthy pharmaceutical magnate.
As a devoted fan following the box office numbers, I can share that Princess Mononoke claimed the sixth spot with an impressive earnings of $4,004,482. On the other hand, Captain America: Brave New World slipped slightly to seventh place, earning $2.8M – a 30.4% decrease compared to its previous weekend’s figures.
In IMAX theaters, you can watch a beautifully remastered 4K version of the timeless 1997 animated movie, Princess Mononoke.
Another film which suffered a massive dip was Black Bag, Mickey 17, and Novocaine.
Last weekend, Black Bag made $2,150,000 less at the box office compared to the previous week, amounting to a drop of 49.5%. Meanwhile, Mickey 17 also saw a decrease, earning $1,920,000 less than the last weekend, equivalent to a 47.8% drop.
As a devoted admirer, I’d like to share my thoughts on the captivating film known as “Black Bag,” masterfully directed by Steven Soderbergh. This gripping tale unfolds around two remarkable intelligence agents: George Woodhouse, portrayed brilliantly by Michael Fassbender, and his equally outstanding partner, Kathryn Woodhouse, brought to life by Cate Blanchett on the silver screen.

standing by his wife Kathryn amidst accusations of national treachery or remaining loyal to his country.
Mickey 17 recounts the tale of a person, portrayed by Robert Pattinson, who ventures into a space colony, serving as a ‘Disposable’ – a laborer destined to be cloned each time he perishes for research purposes, all unfolding in a narrative set in a future era.
Novocaine made $1,450,000 at the box office, a 60.6% decrease from the previous week.
The film, which stars Jack Quaid as a man who cannot feel physical pain, made the 10th spot.
