Snoop Dogg unexpectedly cancelled his appearance at the Melbourne Cricket Ground just before he was scheduled to perform a pre-game show at 1:45pm.
The 53-year-old American rapper is breaking with convention and choosing to stay in a campervan parked outside the concert venue rather than using the usual green room facilities.
Unlike many musicians who’ve previously relied on the MCG staff for accommodations, he’s opting to stay in his own motorhome.
Okay, so you will NOT believe this! I just saw on X that Snoop Dogg isn’t even using the MCG’s green room! Can you believe it? He’s parked a full-on motorhome right outside on Brunton Avenue! A MOTORHOME! It’s amazing, honestly. He’s just…living his best life outside the stadium. I’m officially even more obsessed now.
‘Snoop will stay holed up in the van until given the green light to (crip) walk into the arena.’
According to SEN, Snoop Dogg is currently relaxing in his van and waiting for permission to perform on stage at the arena.

It seems Snoop may be recovering from the set he performed at Ms Collins nightclub on Friday night.
The popular musician partied at a trendy Melbourne nightclub late into Saturday morning, enjoying a final celebration before performing at a pre-game show for the AFL Grand Final.
He took the stage at the Collins St club at 12:45 a.m. and played a one-hour set of his biggest hits for a packed audience.
Snoop reportedly performed The Next Episode, Nuthin’ But A ‘G’ Thang, Drop It Like It’s Hot, Young, Wild & Free and I Wanna F–k You.
He reportedly incorporated popular songs into his work, including Rihanna’s “We Found Love,” the Eurythmics’ “Sweet Dreams,” Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believing,” and Ben E. King’s “Stand By Me.”
‘Thank god for letting me be me. Peace, love and motherf***ing soul,’ he told the screaming crowd.
After his performance, Snoop Dogg went to a private VIP section with his crew and stayed until around 3 a.m. when he left the club.
This sighting follows reports that Snoop Dogg was practicing for his upcoming concert with Jessica Mauboy and Tash Sultana at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on Thursday.

People got a glimpse of Saturday’s big show when the performers were seen rehearsing on stage with a large group of colorful dancers and musicians.
Snoop Dogg and Jessica recently reunited, bringing back memories of their hit 2010 collaboration, “Get ’em Girls.”
The two performers shared smiles while singing into the microphones, and then embraced in a warm hug.
Meanwhile, Tash was spotted nearby, beaming as they strummed on a guitar.
Snoop Dogg looked sharp in a purple tracksuit and a black and yellow bomber jacket.
The rap icon completed his look with sunglasses and purple sneakers.
Jessica, who had a baby in January, looked fantastic in a maroon jumpsuit covered in studs, paired with a matching coat.
Tash looked trendy in a powder blue shirt, matching trousers and a baseball cap.
Snoop Dogg is set to perform after the game at the MCG, where Brisbane will try to win the championship against Geelong on Saturday. The stadium is expected to be packed with 100,000 fans.
