Snoop Dogg’s speech at the Golden Globes was cut short on Sunday after he used profanity while on stage at the Beverly Hilton. He exclaimed, ‘I’m as high as a motherfer,’ leading to immediate censorship.
The 54-year-old rapper was preparing to present the award for Best Podcast when he unexpectedly shared something – which was censored – leaving the audience curious about his statement.
According to reports, he exclaimed, ‘I’m extremely intoxicated right now. You all kept me waiting for far too long!’
Snoop Dogg encouraged the audience to relax and have fun, reminding them they were at the Golden Globes and hanging out with him – Snoop Dogg, or the D-O-double-G.
‘So, make sure you enjoy yourself, don’t be no stiff biff! Move around a little bit!’

When Snoop Dogg presented the award for Best Podcast, he joked that before podcasts existed, people used to listen to him in their cars. He playfully warned the podcasters that they should hope he never decides to start his own podcast.
He also expressed his gratitude to the Golden Globes for including a podcast category in their awards, and congratulated all podcasters, saying they were all winners, but that there was one true winner…
He suddenly said the words he wasn’t supposed to, then gave the award to Amy Poehler, who had won for her podcast, Good Hang.
Amy was thrilled, saying, ‘It’s exactly what I imagined – Snoop handing me the award! Thank you!’
On the red carpet, Snoop Dogg chatted with Aimee Lou Wood, the actress from Sex Education. Wood was surprised that Snoop recognized her.

Aimee shared the video on social media, and it showed her and Snoop dancing and singing along to The Beatles’ song, “She Loves You.”
‘Hi! I can’t believe I’m meeting you,’ said Aimee as she gave Snoop a big hug.
He exclaimed, clearly surprised to see her, “I can’t believe it’s you!” Aimee responded, equally shocked, “You don’t even know who I am.”
Snoop replied: ‘What! You don’t know who I am,’ before Aimee replied: ‘Everyone knows who YOU are.’
Hollywood’s biggest stars gathered for a special night celebrating outstanding achievements in film and television.
The film One Battle After Another won the most awards at the event, taking home four prizes. However, it’s expected to face strong competition at the Oscars from Hamnet, directed by Chloe Zhao, which won the final award of the night – Best Picture in the Drama category – beating out films like Frankenstein, It Was Just An Accident, The Secret Agent, Sentimental Value, and Sinners.
Three television shows took home awards: The Pitt (created by R Scott Gemmill) won for drama, The Studio (created by Evan Goldberg, Alex Gregory, and Peter Huyck) won for comedy or musical, and Adolescence (created by Stephen Graham and Jack Thorne) won as a limited series.
