As a seasoned gamer with a penchant for World War II shooters and a soft spot for sniping mechanics, I can hardly contain my excitement for Sniper Elite: Resistance! With its release just around the corner in January 2025, I’ve already marked the date on my calendar.

Confirmation has been made that Sniper Elite: Resistance is set to debut in January 2025. A Deluxe Edition of the game will be available, offering a bundle that includes the game’s Season Pass, M1911 pistol, and two days early access. Additionally, pre-ordering this title will provide you with an extra ‘Target Führer’ campaign mission, allowing another chance to assassinate Hitler.

In the game Resistance, the role shifts from Karl Fairburne to Harry Hawker, who becomes our main character, mirroring the storyline of Sniper Elite 5. Hawker’s mission is to locate and eliminate the Wunderwaffe, a weapon so potent that its use could secure an unquestionable Nazi victory.

Once again, the latest Sniper Elite offers an enticing blend of strategic sniping mechanics, stealth, and tactical third-person combat across a complete storyline. Additional objectives, such as Kill List targets and side missions, can be pursued, along with multiple infiltration and extraction points. This time around, the game introduces Propaganda side missions, where you assume the role of a Resistance Fighter.

Sniper Elite: Resistance, featuring the return of Invasion mode for multiplayer action and online PvP, is set to launch on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC on January 30th. The game will be accessible day one through Game Pass. Pre-ordering the game will grant you the ‘Target Führer’ mission as a bonus, a special weapon skin, and the Karabiner 98 Rifle.
