On Friday, numerous photos were shared on both Facebook and Instagram, featuring the cast in their final days of shooting, accompanied by a touching caption that resonated deeply with long-term viewers.
‘Today marks the final day of production on our beloved Neighbours,’ it read.
With regret in our hearts, our exceptional team of actors and technicians bid farewell to set for the last time. Though today carries a tinge of sadness, we eagerly anticipate your reaction as you witness the gripping narratives that will soon unfurl across the next six months.
The caption ended: ‘Together we have been, and always will be, the perfect blend.’

In one image, longtime actors Stefan Dennis, Rebekah Elmaloglou, Jackie Woodburne, and Alan Fletcher were side by side, their faces etched with sorrowful smiles, as they bid farewell to a time in their careers.
One individual captured a scene where the entire Neighbours cast donned warm attire, standing together for the last time on Ramsay Street during their farewell shoot on set.
Last week marked the conclusion of four decades of “Neighbours,” and during the heartfelt final day on set, Annie Jones and Stefan Dennis expressed their support for their fellow cast members with emotions running high.
The actress, who is now 55 years old, made her debut on the cherished soap opera back in 1986, portraying Jane Harris, also known as “Plain Jane Superbrain.” This week, she was present to lend a comforting ear.
She was spotted, embracing her fellow cast members, as they gathered to commemorate the closing of an epoch at Melbourne’s Nunawading Studios.
In 1989, Annie made a decision to retreat from public life to take care of her late mother, Elizabeth, who suffered from Alzheimer’s disease; she unfortunately passed away in 2016.
She later reprised her role in 2018 and has been a regular fixture on the show ever since.
Longtime soap actor Stefan, age 66, known for portraying Paul Robinson in the show for four decades, was spotted filming during the last scenes of the series finale.

Initially appearing on “Neighbours” when it first aired in 1985, this actor departed from the show in 1992 but made a comeback in 2004.
He clutched buckets of Chupa Chups lollipops for his castmates.
Stefan expressed in a statement from Prime Video that he hadn’t expected just one program to provide the most thrilling experiences throughout his entire career, which lasted an impressive 40 years.
If it weren’t for my neighbors, I wouldn’t have had the opportunity to meet wonderful people, visit amazing places, or live through unforgettable experiences.
The last episode of “Neighbours” is scheduled for broadcast on December 11, and this news is bound to be heart-wrenching for fans worldwide, as the long-running series has been canceled not once, but three times.
Two years back, I, along with many others, had eagerly prepared myself for what was then advertised as the finale. However, unexpectedly, Amazon stepped in to keep the show running.
The influence of the show “Neighbours” is tremendous, having launched internationally recognized stars such as Kylie Minogue and Margot Robbie.
In wrapping up this latest chapter of Ramsay Street tales, executive producer Jason Herbison characterized the soap as extraordinary, expressing gratitude for the honor bestowed upon him during his tenure overseeing the most recent seasons.

The producer has been with the show intermittently since 1990 when he landed a storyliner position.
He shared with Metro that they’ve increased their collection by 460 episodes, now boasting a total of over 9000, which makes everyone involved extremely proud.
Let’s continue our storyline in Ramsay Street, leaving the residents with optimism as intriguing prospects for the next installment unfold.
Based on the report, disassembly of sets has started at the manufacturing facility located on the outskirts of Melbourne.
Previously owned by redevelopers, the studio location has been leased long-term to Fremantle Media for programming. It’s anticipated that this site will be utilized for other production projects in the future.
