Smilegate, the company behind games like Chaos Zero Nightmare and OUTERPLANE, has released its new multiplayer game, Party Pop Bubblyz, as a soft launch in the Philippines and Australia. The game is available on Android and iOS. While it’s available in these two countries now, Smilegate hasn’t announced when it might be released worldwide.

Enjoy familiar wacky party chaos with penguins and pets

Party games are still incredibly popular! This year alone, we’ve seen major releases like Nekki’s Ninja Party and SEGA’s Sonic Rumble. Now, Smilegate is adding to the fun with Party Pop Bubblyz, a lighthearted game set in the charming Penguin Park, where you’ll find cute penguins and helpful animal companions.

This game lets up to 20 players compete on wild and unpredictable stages, with each match taking about ten minutes. However, it plays a lot like Pudgy Party from Mythical Games – so much so that it’s very similar, though hopefully it improves upon the formula.

Players can activate wacky items and abilities, and collect pets

During gameplay, you’ll find Stars that unlock items and special abilities – like baseball bats or jet engines! What really sets this game apart is the chance to collect and customize 50 unique Pets, and even take pictures of them.

I’m always up for new party games, and this one seems like a lot of fun with its cute style. Knowing it’s made by Smilegate, I have high hopes – and what I’ve seen so far looks great! It features over 30 stages, more than 200 costumes, charming graphics, and both solo and multiplayer options, among other things.

I’m so excited! Party Pop Bubblyz is finally out, but it’s a soft launch right now – meaning you can download it in the Philippines and Australia on both Android and iOS. I already got it from my Google Play Store/App Store. There’s no word yet on when it’ll be available everywhere else, but I’m keeping an eye out for news about a global launch!
