Slow Horses fans! Doctor Who just announced an exciting addition to its cast you’ll want to know about

As a gaming enthusiast, I can hardly contain my excitement as Doctor Who reveals a fresh cast member for the upcoming season, and this one’s bound to thrill Slow Horses devotees like myself!

Next month marks the start of the 15th season for the BBC series, and it’s been announced that actor Freddie Fox will be joining the cast as a formidable alien antagonist.

At the moment, specific details about his personality remain unclear, but you can get a glimpse of this rather intimidating figure, adorned with horns, in the provided initial image.

As the gamer who’s spinning webs as Spider Webb in Apple TV+’s Slow Horses, I’ve had the pleasure of collaborating with Doctor Who’s former showrunner, Russell T Davies, on his critically-acclaimed series Cucumber and Banana in the past.

The actor expressed that they thoroughly enjoyed creating the series and felt privileged for being invited to contribute to Russell’s extraordinary, whimsical, enchanting concept.

As a gamer, I can’t even put into words how extraordinary it was to share the screen with the legendary Ncuti Gatwa. If viewers get half as much joy from watching it as I did while filming, global TV screens might just burst from the excitement!

Davies stated: “It’s been a decade since I collaborated with Freddie on ‘Cucumber’, and this is an excellent method to commemorate the anniversary. He’s an exceptional actor, and he brings ferocity, venom, wit, and a stunning pair of horns to ‘Doctor Who’. Be cautious, Doctor!

aside from the fox, other notable figures are joining the cast for the upcoming season. The episodes will also include appearances by actor Alan Cumming from “The Traitors US” and television host Rylan Clark.

In addition, we have Christopher Chung (from the series Slow Horses), Rose Ayling-Ellis (familiar from EastEnders), Caoilfhionn Dunne (star of A Thousand Blows), Jonah Hauer-King (known for his role in The Little Mermaid), Evelyn Miller (actress from The Lovers), Julia Dray (from Ludwig) and Ariyon Bakare (who has worked on His Dark Materials) aboard as well.

Dr. Gatwa’s journey will carry on, this time accompanied by his new travel partner, Ruby Sunday, portrayed by Millie Gibson. Additionally, we’ll see the introduction of a new character, Belinda Chandra, played by Varada Sethu.

On April 12, you can catch Doctor Who on BBC One in the United Kingdom, while viewers outside the UK can find it on Disney+. If you’re in the UK and want to watch classic episodes of Doctor Who, they are available on BBC iPlayer.
