Seventeen-year-old Blazej Cholinski from Warsaw, Poland, has released his new game, SlimyLeap. It’s a fast-paced 2D pixel-art action platformer currently available on Android, with a PC release planned for this month. An iOS version hasn’t been announced yet.

Play as a brave little slime and go the furthest to escape the creeping red frog

SlimyLeap is a quick and addictive infinite runner. You play as a little slime, and the goal is to see how long you can survive! It’s a bit unusual to have a slime as the main character, but it’s really fun to stretch and launch it around like a slingshot. The game cleverly combines the control style of Angry Birds with the gameplay of classic platformer games.

As you play, the game takes you through diverse environments, from open fields to dense jungles and towering mountains. Each playthrough feels fresh because the levels are carefully designed and offer new obstacles. I especially enjoyed the suspense created by the ever-approaching red fog, which gets faster and more threatening as you advance.

I’m really enjoying this game! You control a slime by just swiping to make it jump and dodge obstacles while you collect gems to unlock cool skins. The retro-pixel art is awesome – it seriously gives me major Mario vibes! It’s especially impressive knowing a 17-year-old made this whole thing. Plus, the sound effects are fun, there’s a local high-score system to compete with friends, and the animations are really well done. Overall, it’s a super solid game.

SlimyLeap is now available for Android devices! You can get it by downloading it from the Google Play Store. We’ll share news about the iOS version soon.
