Skyrim Returns in New DLC in 2026 (But There’s a Catch)

is officially back with new DLC, just not the kind fans were hoping they’d get this year.

If you enjoy games like The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Fallout, and DOOM, you can now experience them in a whole new way – as pinball! A new Bethesda Pinball DLC is available now for Pinball FX, Pinball M, Pinball FX VR, and Zen Pinball World on many different gaming platforms.

Skyrim Fans Can Return to Tamriel in Bethesda Pinball

The Bethesda Pinball DLC is available now for Pinball FX, Pinball M, Pinball FX VR, and Zen Pinball World. Players who have played Pinball FX2 will likely find many of the same tables, but this re-release still offers a lot of fun. The tables based on The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Fallout, and DOOM aren’t your typical pinball games – they offer a unique and exciting experience.

These pinball machines aren’t just themed after The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Fallout, and DOOM; they actually include elements from the games themselves. In the Skyrim pinball game, players can complete quests, craft items, collect and trade, and even battle the dragon Alduin.

The Fallout pinball table in Bethesda Pinball lets you experience the wasteland, pick a side, explore different Vaults, and fight to survive. If you prefer a quicker, more intense pinball experience, the DOOM table offers fast-paced action with unpredictable table features, exciting multi-ball rounds, and plenty of challenges.

Released in 2011, five years after The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, this game puts you in the role of the Dragonborn, tasked with saving the world from a powerful dragon named Alduin the World-Eater. You’ll embark on a quest to track down and defeat this ancient threat.

When Skyrim first came out, everyone went crazy for it – both critics and players like me! It wasn’t just a sales success, moving tens of millions of copies on everything from consoles to PCs, but it also racked up a ton of awards. Seriously, it won ‘PC Game of the Year,’ ‘RPG of the Year,’ and even ‘Overall Game of the Year’ multiple times from places like IGN, GameSpy, and the Interactive Achievement Awards. It was a huge deal!

Fifteen years after its initial release, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim remains one of the greatest fantasy role-playing games ever made. Its continued success is due in part to being re-released on every major gaming system since then, and it still boasts an impressive 96/100 score on Metacritic.
