Skye Wheatley’s secret feud with fellow Big Brother star EXPOSED as fan favourite hits back
Skye Wheatley has revealed a secret feud with a fellow former Big Brother star.
The I’m A Celebrity winner, 30, rose to fame on the 2014 iteration of the reality TV juggernaut.
Instead of saying “She was due to make a return to the show in 2022, but was dropped before filming began following her controversial online admission about her personal life,” you could rephrase it as: Her planned comeback on the show for 2022 didn’t happen because she made a public, contentious statement about her sex life online, which led to her being dismissed from the project before any filming took place.
In their Skye & Callum Nova podcast, she asserted that Big Brother contestant Tim Dormer played a role in her unexpected dismissal from the show.
She shared that she was invited to return to Big Brother, but then a major online controversy erupted which quickly escalated. As a result, she received an overwhelming amount of negative feedback.

‘You know, all my sponsors were dropping me like it was a f**ked time in my life.
The following day, I received an email from the producers, who said something along the lines of, “Oops, we changed our minds. She won’t be part of the selection process.” I felt utterly crushed and deeply saddened by this news.
Later on, Skye asserted that following her victory in the 2024 season of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!, she learned indirectly that Tim was involved in her removal from the program.
Following his appearance on ‘I’m A Celebrity’, Ben Morris [manager] interviewed me. He mentioned that Tim Dormer, another Big Brother contestant from the same year, supposedly said, “if you put Skye in the house, I’m not doing it”. This indicates they made a decision based on this, as he didn’t participate in the show.
Skye expressed her belief, without any concrete evidence, that Tim had been nurturing negative feelings towards her for some time.
‘I don’t know if there’s truth to that, but he hated me,’ she said.
‘I don’t know if he was jealous but I just knew he did not like me.’
Skye explained that the apparent disagreement seemed to arise because, following Tim’s announcement of being gay on Instagram, Tim felt overshadowed or upstaged by Skye grabbing attention.

She once addressed him, saying, “I get the feeling there’s tension between us. Could you tell me why you seem so hostile?” was her statement.
His thought process was that he wanted to draw attention in response to his friend’s coming-out post, as he had congratulated him and expressed his pride. He was merely intending to be supportive and kind.
Regarding Skye’s assertions, she clarified that she held no grudge against the 2013 Big Brother champion.
She expressed that her affection for him remains, as he’s always amusing. There’s no ill-will or negativity on her part towards him.
In response to Skye’s allegations to Daily Mail Australia, Tim countered by labeling her as ‘inauthentic’.
Tim expressed his frustration, stating that he’s grown weary of people using his name to draw connections to their personal narratives, particularly within the realm of reality television, where he feels the portrayals can be misleading or delusional.
‘That experience caused me a decade of trauma thinking anything of that world had meaning.
‘She’s fake as f*** and that’s what it takes to survive that version of “reality”.

He went on to say: ‘I wish her a successful return to the real world, as the world grows weary of the illusions peddled by yesterday’s idols. It’s becoming evident that this world is collapsing, and people are starting to focus on what truly matters. I can only hope that she finds her genuine voice one day, just like I have.’
Previously, I found myself in a situation where I believed I was let go from Channel Seven’s revival of Big Brother in the year 2022, following a contentious revelation about my personal life that stirred controversy.
Two years back, the influencer announced her plans to join forces with popular Big Brother contestants Reggie Bird, Tim Dormer, Tully Smyth, and Layla Subritzky on the show.
however, she was removed from the competition in season 14 prior to filming due to a controversial Instagram post regarding her personal relationship with boyfriend Lachlan Waugh, which was deemed insensitive by show producers.
She shared with news.com.au that initially, she had planned to proceed with her trip to Sydney for an unspecified purpose, but two weeks prior to departure, she responded to a question on her Instagram about who is more dominant in the bedroom.
In response, I might say, “Well, it varies… If I feel up for it, I won’t accept refusal. And surprisingly, he enjoys that directness from me. He appreciates when I express, ‘Darling, let’s make love.’
‘But everyone was like, “You make him have non-consensual sex.”‘
Skye later received an email from producers telling her she’d been axed from the show.

She mentioned, “They told me, ‘We won’t include you this time.’ They didn’t explain why, but I assume that must have been the reason.
They weren’t keen on negative attention at all, and it was truly disheartening. In fact, it felt like a real blow to my spirit.
In 2021, Skye playfully mentioned during a Q&A session with followers that she requests intimacy from Lachlan, regardless of his current disposition.
I am, but only when he’s upset and asserts that he’s not in the mood for intimacy.
She laughed heartily, saying “Nobody is going to stop me… I won’t accept a refusal if I desire intimacy,” she continued.
As a devoted fan, I found myself quite dismayed by the remarks made by my favorite reality star, which seemed to stir up distress among us supporters. Just under a day later, she stepped back onto the platform, humbly extending an apologetic statement that was heartfelt and sincere.
The mother of two expressed regret for her words that may have been hurtful or offensive and vowed to be more mindful before repeating such humor in the future.
