Skye Wheatley reveals why she is refusing to show her face after 'scary' fox eye lift surgery

As an ardent admirer of Skye Wheatley, I find her journey truly captivating, not just for her transformative beauty enhancements, but also for her raw honesty and openness about it. Her latest reveal – the fox eye lift surgery – is yet another testament to her courage and unapologetic approach towards self-improvement.

Previously famous “Big Brother” contestant and social media sensation, Skye Wheatley, has disclosed the actual motivation behind her current choice to conceal her face after undergoing a fox eye lift procedure.

On a typical Wednesday, I chose to share my thoughts with my cherished followers through Instagram Stories. In this particular update, I addressed the question of why my face hasn’t been fully unveiled following my surgery – a topic that seems to be generating quite a buzz among you all.

Straightforwardly and candidly responding to a curious fan’s query, Skye – currently two weeks into her healing process – explained: “Why can’t I reveal my eyes?

To respond, she posted a picture up-close featuring her in everyday attire. The outfit consisted of a white cropped top and grey sweatpants.

She revealed that two weeks after surgery, she feels too tired to deal with other people’s opinions at the moment,” she admitted, explaining that her face is still in the initial stages of healing.

Skye shared that her recovery period would last at least three months, with progressive modifications to her facial appearance throughout this duration.

‘Things will change and look different every day!’ she assured her 700k followers.

The television personality-turned cosmetics tycoon has hinted at a forthcoming announcement, which she expects to make during an upcoming event on Friday. She suggested, however, that the healing process may extend beyond this date.

On Friday, you’ll find me present for a meet-and-greet session. Rest assured, the healing process will persist, and there’s constant change each day.

Skye laughed at her own post-op insecurities, sharing a reflection on how her nose looked following rhinoplasty surgery: ‘Look how dumb my nose looked when I first got it done’.

Previously, she openly acknowledged feeling a strong dislike towards her physical appearance following surgery. In fact, she went so far as to express that at first, she strongly disliked her breasts once the bandage was removed.

The influencer encouraged her fans to trust the healing process, saying, ‘LOL ya gotta trust the process.’

Skye has experience with cosmetic improvements; she’s previously spoken openly about her treatments and the personal odyssey frequently associated with them.

In my pursuit of enhancing my look, I’ve recently opted for a fox eye lift procedure, which subtly reshapes my eyes to adopt a more elongated almond shape – another exciting addition to my journey of self-improvement in the realm of beauty.

For quite some time now, individuals have been successfully attaining an upturned appearance at the outer corners of their eyes by employing smart eyeliner applications, skillful shadow makeup tricks, and diverse plucking techniques.

‘I’m trusting the process,’ Skye said of her recovery.

The photos Skye shared on Monday show her face does indeed look ‘scary’ after the trendy procedure, which has been popularised by accessibility of first-hand reviews and celebrities such as Kendall Jenner, Bella Hadid, and Ariana Grande.

Beyond mentioning her fox eye lift and liposuction, Skye also disclosed that she had a temporal lift (a procedure where fat is transferred into the face to reduce dependency on injectable fillers) and a blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery) performed earlier this month.

A facial fat injection, also known as a temporal lift, aims to eliminate the requirement for skin fillers, while a blepharoplasty refers to a surgical procedure on the eyelids.

She shared, “My physician mentioned my arms and legs didn’t have a lot of fat, so [they] removed just a small amount. From what I’ve seen on my arms thus far, I’m incredibly pleased with the results.

‘Legs don’t look much different, probably swollen.’

On her Instagram Stories, Skye openly shared a list of the cosmetic surgeries she has undergone throughout her life.

That includes surgery on her nose, her breasts (twice), arms, inner thigh and face.

Subsequently, Skye provided guidance to a follower who expressed apprehension about venturing to Turkey solo for the same treatment she had, due to fear.

After undergoing the fox eye lift surgery, the influencer shared that she had trouble opening her eyes for a full three-day period. In simpler terms, she found it quite disconcerting to be in a strange medical facility without being able to see for those days.

‘Why did you get the liposuction if you’re really fit?’ another follower asked Skye.

Skye pointed out that no matter how fit someone is, they will always have persistent areas of body fat that can be challenging to get rid of.

‘I’m not actually that fit. Yes, I train daily but my diet isn’t perfect. I’m too much of a sweet tooth I’m obsessed with sugar and food in general. I’m a big eater lol.

‘He wasn’t even going to do it, he said hardly any fat, but I insisted.’

As a committed supporter, I feel compelled to express that, although I mean no disrespect, your behavior seems to be contributing, unintentionally perhaps, to the self-esteem struggles some women face.

‘Everyone is going to have self esteem issues,’ Skye wrote back.

‘I find beauty in others, but there’s something unique when I look at myself. I’m being truthful about my surgeries because I don’t want other girls who haven’t had enhancements to feel less than or unattractive.’

‘Everyone is beautiful with or without surgery, but I think the more damaging thing is to get all these enhancements done without being honest about it,’ she continued.

In the online world, there are numerous women who’ve undergone cosmetic surgeries without disclosing it. I choose not to be among those individuals who keep this fact hidden.
