As a seasoned observer of the ever-evolving world of social media influencers, I must confess that Skye Wheatley‘s latest escapade left me both amused and somewhat sympathetic. The woman has had quite an eventful life, from her stint on Big Brother to her subsequent rise as an Instagram star, and now, it seems, she’s added a new role to her repertoire: the feisty beauty therapist turned client.

Skye Wheatley disclosed that she had a heated argument with a waxing specialist during a session for an intimate wax.

30-year-old influencer vented about a hot argument she claimed to have had, sharing the account on her Instagram Stories on Thursday, evidently upset by the situation.

She asserted that she became angry when a beautician advised her not to interfere with her work during a Brazilian waxing session at a Gold Coast salon.

In a video, she strongly criticized the beautician, recounting their argument that supposedly ensued following Skye’s suggestion about her waxing method.

Skye, previously a beauty therapist, expressed intense frustration, saying, “What I’m about to tell you will be quite impactful, but words fail me in expressing the emotions this individual has stirred within me.”

Skye explained that due to being pressed for time, she went to a new hair salon instead of her usual one. However, she became puzzled when the beauty specialist began applying small wax strips and tweezers.

2024’s winner of I’m A Celebrity Australia mentioned that the experience wasn’t as agonizing, yet expressed dissatisfaction with the beautician’s method, stating it required more time.

She mentioned that she’s crafting small, intricate wax designs and, having previously worked as an esthetician, she confidently stated her proficiency in performing Brazilian waxes.

Afterward, she stated that the beautician showed little enthusiasm when Skye requested the use of wax strips instead of tweezers; her response suggested disapproval or indifference.

Skye asserted, “She spun around, gave me a stern gaze, then said, ‘I am the expert in this situation; you won’t instruct me on how to perform my duties. I’ll wax it according to my own judgment.'”

‘I was just like holy s**t, I was really taken aback!’ 

She isn’t easily moved to tears herself, but such a situation could bring tears to another person, she continued. Her gaze seemed as if it could devour me, her eyes appeared to be under some sort of possession!

As someone who once worked in the beauty industry and has experience with waxing, I assured the beautician of my knowledge when she asked about my past. Despite this, I didn’t voice any complaints during my visit to the salon, as I found myself pressed for time.

She admitted, “It seems I may have come off as somewhat cocky because I mentioned that I used to be a beauty therapist and thus have experience with waxing.”

Instead of having numerous options at my disposal, I found myself thinking, “I don’t have time for that many tasks right now, so I decided to stay put rather than get up and leave.”

After the popular social media personality, known for her breakout on Big Brother in 2014, disclosed her intention to go to Turkey for a cosmetic eyelid surgery commonly referred to as a “fox eye” procedure, her post followed.

She revealed in a recent Instagram video that she will be heading overseas to get the controversial cosmetic procedure.

She mentioned that she plans to travel to Turkey, where she’ll undergo a cosmetic procedure often referred to as a “fox eye lift.” This treatment is essentially a mid-facelift, not too intense in terms of invasiveness.

As a devoted follower seeking a subtle enhancement, I prefer a minimal lift that maintains a natural appearance. I wouldn’t want my eyebrows to appear raised excessively, only slightly elevated when my face is at rest.

‘I know a few people who have had it and they look amazing,’ she continued.

Many viewers here may not be well-versed in surgery matters, and they might assume I’ll appear older after this. However, I’m perfectly okay with that, as I’m proceeding regardless.

A procedure known as the ‘Fox Eye Thread Lift’ lifts the brow’s edges using a self-dissolving PDO (Polydioxanone) thread. The goal is to mimic the appearance achieved through a surgical fox eye lift, all without requiring surgery.

Speaking candidly about additional beauty enhancements, Skye confessed that she harbors a desire for liposuction on her inner thighs and upper arms. However, she expresses concerns that the results might appear artificial.

She mentioned that she was considering having liposuction done again as she felt her doctor had not removed enough fat the first time, she added.

I’ve consistently been who I am today, with some modifications along the way. Specifically, I’ve undergone a procedure on my nose. I’m passionate about aesthetic treatments and enjoy their ability to boost self-confidence. I strive to maintain transparency by openly discussing the enhancements I choose to make.

“She expressed that she doesn’t want others to assume she’s had a Brazilian Butt Lift, and she’s unsure if she’d opt for liposuction as an alternative.”
