Skye Wheatley, 30, unveils the ‘scary’ results of her Turkish fox eye lift surgery – as she reignites old feud with MAFS star Cyrell Paule

As a seasoned observer of reality television, it seems that both Cyrelle and Skye are no strangers to drama, and their latest exchange is no exception. From my perspective, it appears that the history between these two women is long and complicated, with each feeling slighted by the other in some way. It’s unfortunate that their past interactions have left such a bitter taste, but I must admit, I find myself rooting for Cyrelle in this situation.

Skye Wheatley shocked her followers with the results of her fox eye lift surgery on Monday. 

Previously known Big Brother Australia celebrity shared on her Instagram Stories a concerning look at her facial appearance, which she obtained following surgery in Turkey.

The 30-year-old responded to allegations she has a ‘plastic surgery addiction’ last week and also defended sharing the details of her procedures online. 

Skye’s face is still covered entirely with tape after she underwent several cosmetic procedures. 

She shared with her followers on Thursday that she currently can’t reveal herself due to being quite frightening at the moment, but as she heals further, she promises to share her healing journey – there’s no need to be concerned.

When pushed by her fans to film her face, she said ‘Nah, it’s horrific.’ 

The ‘Fox Eye Lift’ is often described as a minimally intrusive surgical method, whereby dissolvable sutures are employed to elevate the eyebrow and lengthen the outer eye region, giving it an almond-like shape.

For quite some time now, individuals have been attaining an uplifting appearance by skillfully applying eyeliner, shading makeup, and different plucking styles, all aimed at creating an illusion of a sweep that ascends towards the outer edge of the eye.

‘I’m trusting the process,’ Skye said of her recovery.

On Monday, Skye posted photos that reveal her face appears quite striking following the fashionable treatment, a procedure that has gained popularity due to its increased availability in personal testimonials and endorsements by celebrities like Kendall Jenner, Bella Hadid, and Ariana Grande.

Apart from getting a fox eye lift, Skye disclosed that she recently had two additional cosmetic procedures done: a temporal lift, which involves transferring fat into her face to reduce the need for dermal fillers, and a blepharoplasty, which is a surgical procedure on the eyelids. Both were performed last week.

On Monday, she posted pictures featuring extra massage techniques for lymphatic drainage and nourishing treatments for the neck.

Skye titled a picture showing her with her plastic surgeon and a friend, both post-procedure, ‘Oops, I hadn’t planned to unveil my face just yet as the surgery makes us appear unusual.’

In addition, this mother of two found herself in a heated discussion with another reality television personality, Cyrell Paule, regarding her post about The Amazing Race.

‘She’s crazy but makes great TV, I’ll give her that,’ Skye wrote underneath a post by Cyrell.

In response to the comment, Cyrell expressed strong anger towards Skye, asserting directly as women that such a label was unwarranted. She requested Skye to consider the potential consequences of her calling Cyrell crazy and take it into account.

‘Of course a light-skinned woman is allowed to call a woman of colour crazy,’ Cyrelle wrote in response. 

On her Instagram Stories posted on Monday, she additionally penned comments about Skye, stating that he sought attention through his remarks, found it embarrassing, and labeled him as a hypocrite. This was due to the fact that Skye had previously been associated with the charity Bully Zero during I’m A Celeb.

Meanwhile, Skye reposted a clip of ‘Cyclone Cyrelle’ competing on the current season of The Amazing Race: Celebrity Edition captioned: ‘Cyrelle is so scary guys, I’m having PTSD watching this from the little interaction we had.’ 

‘See, this is what I mean,’ Cyrelle clapped back when re-shared Skye’s Story. 

She explained, ‘When I use the term “crazy” about myself or someone I care for, it’s meant as a joke. However, if it’s being said by someone who isn’t fond of me, it’s more like a veiled insult disguised as a compliment.’

‘This is why as a woman of colour I say this portrays me as aggressive and violent. It is not ok.’ 

2017, 2018, and 2019 weren’t the first years I found myself having to clarify that my comments didn’t stem from racism, as Skye faced criticism on more than one occasion.

In the year 2017, the influencer who is excessively fond of tans faced severe backlash when she expressed her desire to be a “naturally tanned Aborigine” rather than applying self-tanner. This statement sparked criticism due to its insensitive and inappropriate nature.

A year down the line, she found herself in another predicament as she playfully jabbed Lachlan Waugh, the father of her initial child, questioning if their next baby would be of a ‘chocolaty complexion’.

In 2019, she almost made the same comments when she declared that she was quitting sunbathing.

”I was trying to be a different race,’ Skye said on her Instagram Stories. 

In her extended post on Instagram Stories, she explained that she was attempting to present herself as belonging to a different ethnicity.

Instead, she continued, “If you look back through my posts, you’ll clearly notice how… tanned I became.” Or, “As you go back through my updates, you’ll easily spot how much I tanned.

At the age of 24, Skye added: “I had another thought, but I fear being labeled as racist, and I simply don’t have the energy to handle such turmoil.

‘I first met Skye at a Mother’s day event where she kept on asking questions [about] how Eden and I got together and how we ended up together,’ Cyrelle continued in a subsequent post amid their latest feud. 

She suggested that the stories about Eden and I being a “publicity stunt” might be accurate, and later on, she explained she was merely attempting to get better acquainted with me.

As a lifestyle connoisseur reflecting on past experiences, I can’t help but reminisce about an unforgettable incident that took place between me and Skye at a Gold Coast influencer gathering back in 2022. It seems this moment has left quite an impact, as it’s been brought up again recently.

Cyrelle and Eden Dally from Love Island are among the most contentious and divisive couples in Australian reality TV. Together they have a child named Boston.

In her post, Cyrelle stated that the person had made her the center of attention among their friends during the event, and they have since shared a video link from that night where she said she would push them in their meal.

‘Thinking about it now, I wish I did. And people wonder why I go off.

She went on saying, “I’m tired of feeling compelled to justify the presence of my partner, or hearing comments about him being too excellent for me.

In Cyrelle’s words, she expressed her feelings about Skye as follows: “At that moment, Skye evoked certain emotions in me.” However, before parting ways with a subtle jab at the blonde, she added: “What I can say for sure is that I am not the one who took anyone else’s partner, unlike some others. So, see you later, Felicia.

Skye then filmed a response, lying in bed reposed with her taped-up face on full display.

She made an effort to re-bury the hatchet by sharing a link to the video of the incident. 

She claimed on Monday that the situation was deliberately arranged, since the girl sitting beside Cyrelle was already recording, a statement she made back then too.

‘Anyway, I’m not problematic, actually you could say I’m problematic. But I don’t care. YOLO.

Skye admitted, “I was merely inquiring, not realizing she’d respond so unexpectedly. Then, it suddenly struck me: ‘Am I living a moment straight out of MAFS?’

Afterward, she echoed her praise towards Cyrelle. “She does a fantastic job on television, and I truly look forward to watching The Amazing Race this season.
