In a chat with her surgeon, Dr. Vasfi Çelik (during a meeting shared on Instagram last Saturday), Skye requested additional procedures, which sparked worries among fans due to the potential implications.
On the plastic surgeon’s social media platform, a video emerged featuring the ex-Big Brother celebrity discussing her nose during a consultation.
As a die-hard admirer, I’ve often found myself pondering over the flawless features of my beloved idol. Recently, rumors swirled that she might consider another nose job, following her transformation in 2021. To my excitement, she admitted to contemplating it. However, contrary to my wishes, her doctor turned down her request, leaving me eagerly waiting for any future changes.
‘I was but I wont touch it that’s too far. Dr said my nose is fine hahahaha I trust him,’ she said.
Further down in the comments, one fan begged Skye to ‘stop chasing perfection’ through cosmetic procedures and plastic surgery.
They told you, ‘You’re already so stunningly beautiful just the way you are. Stop striving for perfection. True happiness won’t come from that pursuit.’
They continued: ‘You are looking for yourself in all the wrong places and sending the wrong message to other women. Your heart is beautiful therefore you are beautiful.’
On Tuesday, The Outspoken Podcast discussed a particular topic, expressing worries that Skye might have an addiction to plastic surgery; this was presented by the trio of co-hosts, Amy, Sophie, and Kate Taeuber.
‘I don’t want to go too much into it because I know that it is ultimately Skye’s decision what she does to her body, but I find it so disturbing because she’s only 30,’ one said.
‘She looks so young. She’s a stunning woman.’
Someone mentioned that Skye openly showed her honesty to discourage young women from idealizing her appearance and questioning their inability to achieve the same look.
In essence, they pointed out that while it’s commendable that Skye is open and transparent, there’s a concern that some of her videos might appear to endorse these surgeries and potentially influence young girls to consider such procedures as well.
On Skye’s TikTok, many worried fans have been expressing their concern in the comments section of her latest vlog from Turkey, suggesting that she doesn’t require a fox eye lift or additional nose surgery.
One individual expressed, “I wish you could understand just how stunning you are without having to demonstrate it,” while the other responded, “Really?” or possibly “Is that a joke?
A third added: ‘This is ridiculous. Shame on whoever made you feel that you need this work done.’
Skye responded to that comment with: ‘Myself or I have daddy issues.’
The comment suggested that the surgery could have been postponed until the person was in their 40s, as they are far too young and apparently do not require it.
‘Oh I really don’t mean to be rude but you don’t need that at all,’ one user said.
Another person said, ‘Wow, Skye! It’s a shame you can’t see how stunningly beautiful you already are. You don’t have to change a single thing about your face or body. A million girls would be thrilled to resemble you. Stay happy and confident in who you are.’
Skye is planning to undergo a “fox eye” lift surgery in Turkey, and she’s openly shared that she desires liposuction on her inner thighs and arms.
She has undergone a litany of cosmetic procedures over the years, including lip and cheek filler, rhinoplasty and an infamously botched boob job.
In June, it was disclosed that the online persona underwent treatments for shoulder reduction, specifically trapezius injections.
Last year, she had surgery once more to correct a breast augmentation procedure she had done in Thailand back in 2015 that didn’t turn out as planned.
In April, Skye also had an anti-ageing treatment to remove fine lines and wrinkles around her neck.
The concerns come as Skye has been wheeled into the operating theatre after touching down in Turkey for her controversial cosmetic procedure.
On Monday, the social media personality posted a video to Instagram from her hospital bed, minutes prior to undergoing a procedure known as a “fox eye lift” – a cosmetic surgery that subtly lifts the eyelids to create a feline-inspired look.
Skye, known for her humor about being ‘plastic surgery obsessed’, was seen wearing a hospital gown, flashing a grin to the nurses as they pushed her into the operating room.
‘It’s happening, feel like I could vomit hahaha,’ she captioned the image.
Skye is departing Down Under, leaving Lachlan Waugh to look after their kids, Forest (age 5) and Bear (age 3), while she undergoes treatment and recovers.
