Skull and Bones Year 2 Roadmap: Large ships, land combat, and the Kraken

Prepare yourself as we introduce bigger vessels, ground battles, and the unveiling of the infamous sea beast “Kraken” along with the Year 2 Roadmap in our development team’s upcoming updates for Skull and Bones!

If you haven’t had recent updates from Ubisoft’s Skull and Bones, don’t be concerned – we’ve also been in the same boat. At first, it caught our attention, but after playing for quite some time, it started feeling redundant. However, with the unveiling of the Skull and Bones Year 2 Roadmap, there are plenty of exciting developments on the horizon.

We’re genuinely thrilled about everything that Year 2 and its seasons bring! This year, you’ll find land battles for your pirate, a big ship to command, and a chance to confront the mighty Kraken towards the end of the year.

A look at the Year 2 Roadmap for Skull and Bones

There’s a great deal of excitement surrounding it, and players of Skull and Bones can hardly wait for the start of Year 2. In total, it will offer four seasons, each packed with fresh elements, game modes, and an abundance of additional content.

Absolutely, you’ll always have your Smuggler’s Pass at hand, which will become accessible as the seasons commence. That means you’ve got exciting new story content on the horizon, PvP action, and the long-awaited chance to make a name for yourself in land combat by firing and slashing your way to notoriety!

We haven’t fixed the dates for all seasons yet, but Season 1 kicks off tomorrow (on April 15, 2025), and when it does, you’ll see a full year of the long-awaited features being introduced in Skull and Bones Year 2.
