Skull and Bones sets sail on Steam on August 22

Skull and Bones sets sail on Steam on August 22

As a long-time gamer with years of experience under my belt, I’m always excited to hear about new releases, especially when it comes to massively multiplayer online games (MMOs). Skull and Bones, Ubisoft’s pirating MMO, has been on my radar since its initial launch, but as a dedicated Steam user, I’ve had to hold off on joining the adventure.

Starting August 22, Pirate’s Skull and Bones will be available on Steam for players to embark on voyages across the Indian Ocean.

As a passionate gamer, I’ve been hooked on Ubisoft’s pirate-themed MMO, Skull and Bones, ever since its launch. With its intense gameplay and devoted community of hardcore players, it’s no wonder the game has been a great success. Now, in an effort to bring even more gamers aboard, Skull and Bones is setting sail for Steam starting in August.

Ubisoft has made the decision to shift another one of its titles from Ubisoft Connect to platforms like Steam or the Epic Games Store. This isn’t a new move for Ubisoft, but it is a significant step aimed at increasing pirate activity on the Indian Ocean (metaphorically speaking, in the context of gaming).

On August 22, 2024, Skull and Bones will make its debut on Steam. This occurs at the beginning of the game’s third chapter. Following the defeat of the Hubac Twins, a fresh menace will surface in the area, attracting new players to lend a hand.

Currently, you can play the game on PlayStation, Xbox consoles, and personally on your PC via Ubisoft Connect. The developer aims to welcome newcomers who may have previously passed on the game because it wasn’t available on Steam.

As a passionate PC gamer, I can’t imagine my gaming life without Steam. It’s the go-to place for an enormous community of gamers like me. So it feels natural that Skull and Bones, the latest pirate adventure game, would choose to debut there alongside a fresh content update. That way, newcomer pirates and I can all dive in together and enjoy the exciting new features that come with the season launch.
