Skies of Arcadia Trademarks Have Been Filed by SEGA
As a dedicated gamer, I can’t help but feel a surge of excitement when I hear that Sega has filed trademarks for “Skies of Arcadia” and its Japanese title, “Eternal Arcadia.” This could potentially mean we might see a remaster, remake, or even a brand-new chapter in this beloved RPG series, which first graced our screens on the Dreamcast back in 2000. Here’s to hoping for some epic adventures on the high seas!
There’s a possibility that the GameCube version of “Skies of Arcadia Legends”, released in 2002, could receive a remastered edition. Regardless, fans are eager for more content from “Skies of Arcadia”, and the recent trademark filing (as reported by Final Weapon) is an encouraging sign.
SEGA seems to be reviving several of its old games from their slumber, such as “Ecco the Dolphin” and “Jet Set Radio,” along with “Crazy Taxi,” “Streets of Rage,” “Shinobi,” and “Golden Axe.” This could potentially include “Skies of Arcadia” as well. Essentially, they’re tapping into a treasure trove of classic intellectual properties.
