Skeleton Crew is set to tie the Mandoverse lore together, hints at the Sith

As a lifelong Star Wars fan who has spent countless hours delving into every nook and cranny of the galaxy far, far away, I can hardly contain my excitement for the upcoming series, Star Wars: Skeleton Crew. The prospect of exploring Wild Space, an unexplored sector of space, is tantalizing enough, but throw in a Jude Law-led cast, an Easter egg hinting at connections to Ahsoka and The Mandalorian, and the enigmatic language of ur-Kittat, and I’m beyond thrilled.

Star Wars boasts numerous captivating extensions of the films, and the upcoming series titled “Star Wars: Skeleton Crew” is stirring curiosity and anticipation with each fresh detail made public. The production by Jon Watts and Christopher Ford focuses on a quartet of youngsters, whose journey home following an adventure takes them into uncharted territories. In this storyline, Jude Law assumes the role of a quick-witted individual utilizing the Force, but a recent image leak reveals him in deep thought, a moment that may have profound consequences.

As a passionate fan, I’ve stumbled upon an exciting Easter egg from ScreenRant. In a recent photo from Empire Magazine, Jude Law’s character, Jod Na Nawood, is seen studying an enigmatic inscription on a cavern wall, set within the uncharted territories of Wild Space – a colossal, undiscovered sector of the cosmos bordering the galaxy’s edge. Thomas Bacon, the author, hints that this series will expand upon the narrative presented in Ahsoka, shedding light (or at least, offering tantalizing hints) on the mysteries surrounding the ancient intergalactic empire.

Scratching symbols on a cave wall might seem like too much pressure, but since they are written in ur-Kittat, it holds significant value. Bacon hints that “Skeleton Crew,” along with “Ahsoka” and “The Mandalorian,” are happening at the same time. The script on Peridea, which Ahsoka encountered in her later years, resembles this language, suggesting that the Perideans were ancestors of the Sith.

In a tale told by Bacon, we find out how a shadowy figure known as Kujet ascended the throne of an ancient Zeffo empire, which was a significant part of the video game ‘Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order’. As centuries passed and millennia rolled on, the Sith drew inspiration from the fragments and artifacts left behind by Kujet’s realm. Bacon ponders, “Could there be more secrets yet to unfold?” He notes that Lucasfilm is notoriously discreet regarding this series, leaving us with limited knowledge.

As a passionate admirer, I can’t help but echo the words of Director Lee Isaac Chung when he referred to his episode work as “things are about to get very real.” The intriguing connections between Perideans and Zeffo could potentially intensify this reality.

We’re just over a month from finding out, as Disney+ will premier the show on December 3.
