skate. Console Playtest Sign Ups Are Now Live
It’s been officially confirmed that registration for the much-anticipated console playtest of the game “Skate” is now open. The playtest has been scheduled to start towards the end of 2024.
Ultimately, Xbox and PlayStation gamers are now able to sign up as a Skate Insider, potentially allowing them to participate in the forthcoming closed beta tests. However, it’s important to note that, similar to many such opportunities, there’s no assurance that you’ll be chosen for this exclusive experience.
As a gamer, I stumbled upon a sign-up page here, which clarifies that participating in this playtest won’t allow video, capture, image, or stream sharing from the session. However, if you join in, you’ll score some cool in-game perks! You’ll receive an awesome skateboard and a stack of stickers to spruce up your game once it’s fully released.
The exact start date for the skateboarding game playtesting hasn’t been set yet, but it’s anticipated that the game will officially launch into Early Access around the year 2025 on platforms such as Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and personal computers (PC).
