Skai Jackson pregnant with first child: Former Disney Channel star’s ‘heart is so full’

Disney Channel alumna Skai Jackson is all grown up and starting a family of her own.

A spokesperson for actress Debby Ryan (famous for Disney shows “Jessie” and “Bunk’d”) confirmed to The Times on Tuesday that Ryan, aged 22, is anticipating her first child. Ryan initially shared this baby news with People magazine, disclosing that she is pregnant with her boyfriend, whose identity she has yet to unveil in public.

Three months following an arrest on suspicion of domestic violence at Universal Studios Hollywood, the TV personality announced her pregnancy. The incident occurred on August 9, when security personnel witnessed her and her partner engaging in a physical fight within the theme park, which borders the Universal CityWalk entertainment and retail complex.

Initially, it was reported by the LA County Sheriff’s Department representative to The Times that the actor was considered the main instigator based on an initial investigation. However, Jackson and her partner refuted the claims of a physical fight, as shared by a source with TMZ in August. This same source also disclosed that the couple were engaged and anticipating their first child at that time.

Jackson, who’s about to become a mom, is already skilled at keeping kids amused. Although she is primarily recognized for her work on the Disney Channel, Jackson’s television career also encompasses voice acting roles in children’s shows such as “Bubble Guppies,” “Dora the Explorer,” and “Dragons: Rescue Riders.

Over the past few years, she has also made appearances in shows like “A Black Lady Sketch Show” on HBO, the short film “Big Boss,” which is inspired by the life of fellow ex-child star KeKe Palmer, as well as movies such as “Sheroes” and “The Man in the White Van.
