Sisters Share Heartfelt Tributes to Late Félicité Tomlinson Six Years After Her Tragic Death

Lou Teasdale and Lottie Tomlson recently posted heartfelt remembrances for their late sister, Félicité Tomlson, who passed away five years ago at the age of eighteen.

Tragically, Félicité passed away at 18 years old in 2019 due to an accidental overdose, and their mother Johannah succumbed to leukemia in 2016 at the age of 43. This has been a difficult period for the family.

Lou posted a heartwarming, black-and-white video compilation of Félicité, expressing: “I miss you each day, my angel Fizzy” (implied: with love)

In the meantime, Lottie shared old photos featuring herself, Félicité, and their brother Louis Tomlinson from their childhood days.

6 years ago, I learned that our time wasn’t as long as I’d hoped. Since then, I’ve grappled with this reality, knowing that you would have made a wonderful aunt to my children.

As I tend to my cherished garden, named Flossie Grace, I can’t help but feel your presence. It’s a tribute, dear sister, to the profound impact you’ve had on my life – an eternal remembrance of our bond. I fervently believe that from wherever you are, you’re looking down with a warm smile, knowing how much you meant to me. My heart yearns for you every day, and though we’re separated now, I hold onto the hope that one day, we’ll reunite again.

Prior to two unfortunate events, Lottie had been working hand in hand with her friend Lou as a makeup artist. By the year 2015, she found herself accompanying her brother Louis in his band, One Direction, on their tours.

In her book, Lottie shares that neither she nor her younger siblings received any assistance or guidance to cope with their mourning after a loss.

It wasn’t until Lou motivated her to seek help from Sue Ryder’s bereavement charity that she referred to it as a pivotal moment in her life.

In her most challenging moments, when I doubted happiness could return, she expressed her thoughts as follows: ‘I was absolutely certain I wouldn’t find joy again. Many others must be feeling the same way.’

Last month, Lou expressed a deeply moving message about suicide, emphasizing that she had done everything possible to aid Caroline Flack during her mental health challenges.

On February 15, 2020, the host of Love Island was discovered deceased at her residence in North East London. An inquest held in August 2020 concluded that her passing was a result of suicide.

Following her Ask Me Anything session on Instagram, one of her fans messaged her saying, ‘Even if someone is determined to take their own life, no intervention can deter them. Remember, you have done your utmost best.’

Lou shared her thoughts, saying: “Over the last decade, suicide has had a significant impact on my life, much like it does for countless others. Either through personal struggle or witnessing it in those close to us.

‘I am currently working with an amazing charity Body and Soul.

Due to repeatedly witnessing and striving to support two close friends struggling with suicidal thoughts without them receiving necessary professional help, I came to realize that the assistance provided by both the National Health Service (NHS) and private healthcare sectors, as well as mental health hotlines that collect millions in donations each month, are largely ineffective when it comes to aiding those contemplating suicide.

Body and Soul presents an exclusive, six-month assistance program tailored for people who have contemplated suicide. This program has a remarkable track record, with every participant who completed their ‘You Are Not Alone’ course managing to avoid any further attempts at self-harm.

They additionally provide complimentary online workshops for individuals similar to myself, who though untrained, are actively helping someone facing these challenges. I often express that suicidal behaviors can be infectious.

The tragic act of one suicide can lead to a ripple effect of trauma among the people affected, potentially increasing the likelihood of additional suicides if appropriate support is not provided.

Among all the various initiatives I’ve explored, none have caught my attention quite like the one that demonstrates tangible, grassroots influence through their actions.

If you find yourself needing assistance at the moment, don’t hesitate to reach out to them. Alternatively, if you’re able, you could follow them and make a donation.

In addition to her social media post, Lou and her partner Andy also contributed £1,000 to the charity’s You Are Not Alone initiative.

Lou’s post was made following a confidante sharing their distress about their rift with Christine, Caroline’s mother, to Katie Hind at The Daily Mail.

Recently, it was disclosed in The Mail that Christine plays a crucial role in an upcoming Disney+ documentary focused on Caroline. This documentary meticulously recounts Caroline’s final 24 hours and aims to provide insights into her untimely death, as well as speculate if there were opportunities for her survival.

One question that Christine has been eagerly trying to find answers for is why Lou and Mollie Grosberg, a friend of hers, abandoned Caroline in her apartment on the day she tragically ended her life. Notably, Caroline had attempted suicide the day prior while she was on Love Island.

Ever since the documentary was announced, a close confidant of Lou’s has informed The Mail that it is deeply troubling for Lou that Christine seems to be implicating them following Caroline’s passing.

For several long hours, they were with Caroline, yet they couldn’t persuade her to go to the hospital, as they shared.

As a conscientious lifestyle advisor, I ensured her well-being by staying at her apartment. However, it wasn’t sustainable long-term, so I had to depart.

It’s unfortunate that they are now being blamed by Caroline’s mom. Once, Christine and Lou were very close, but that bond seems to be fading now.

The sadness from Caroline’s passing continues to linger among her friends, profoundly impacting them, and it’s believed by many that she deserves tranquility in her final resting place.

However, this documentary might bring up past events, potentially leading to accusations being made unintentionally in specific areas.

Since the passing of her best friend back in February 2020, Lou has gradually been working on reestablishing her life, and more recently, she’s found herself in a relationship with footballer Andy.

Andy and his reality TV star spouse Billi Mucklow (aged 36) officially announced their divorce in September, following a covert separation that occurred earlier in the year. They had been a couple for 11 years.

After announcing his new relationship with Lou at a Halloween gathering, it’s reported that he informed Billi about it just moments before the news broke out.
