Sir Tom Jones and Sugababes to Headline Camp Bestival 2025!

Camp Bestival has announced the new wave of acts for its 2025 festival.

The happening scheduled at Lulworth Castle in Dorset is bursting with excitement to mark its 17th anniversary, offering a captivating program.

From July 31 to August 3, this vibrant festival is set to unfold, featuring a diverse mix of genres including rock, indie, pop, drum and bass, as well as an abundance of kid-friendly entertainment options.

Other than Sir Tom Jones and popular ’00s groups Sugababes, Basement Jaxx will lead the lineup as its main acts.

84-year-old Welsh celebrity Tom has enjoyed numerous major successes throughout his career, with iconic songs like “It’s Not Unusual,” “What’s New Pussycat?,” “She’s a Lady,” “Sex Bomb,” and the theme for James Bond in “Thunderball” being among them.

Over the past decade, Basement Jaxx, comprised of Felix Buxton and Simon Ratcliffe, have graced main stages at music festivals worldwide as headlining acts.

The Sugababes became widely recognized in 1998, with popular tunes such as ‘Round Round’, ‘Push the Button’, ‘Freak Like Me’, and ‘About You Now’ contributing significantly to their rise.

The team expressed their eagerness: “We can’t wait to take the main stage at Camp Bestival this summer! We’ve only ever heard fantastic stories about this specific festival, so we’re eagerly anticipating meeting all of you there!

In addition, Lightning Seeds (an indie rock band), The Zutons, renowned DJ Annie Mac, and legendary drum and bass artist Goldie are all set to grace the festival stage.

Reggae queen Dawn Penn is set to perform alongside emerging talents Nieve Ella, Mia Kirkland, and The Pill, a promising indie group hailing from the Isle of Wight.

For those that have Eras withdrawals, there will be a Miss Americana: A Tribute to Taylor Swift.

This coming weekend will feature ska icons Dub Pistols, Palestinian artist Bashar Murad, rapper MC Grammar, Dreadzone, and radio personality Chris Hawkins from BBC 6 Music.

The excitement continues with top-notch family entertainment lined up featuring Andy and The Odd Socks, Mr. Tumble, and the versatile Mister Maker in their performances.

At Camp Bestival on Saturday, August 2nd, the globe’s largest Pajama Party is scheduled to take place, urging families to don their sleepwear. Notably, Rob da Bank and Rugby star Joe Marler will jointly perform as DJs for a first-time back-to-back set.

On Wednesday, the organizers of the festival unveiled the official schedule, sharing it via an Instagram post.

For more than two decades, we’ve dreamt about having Sir Tom Jones perform on our stages at Bestival and Camp Bestival. At last, he’s agreed to sing “Delilah” for us!

Josie and I have been friends with Basement Jaxx since their debut, and we believe they deliver the finest live dance performances. So, brace yourselves for this year’s most vibrant spectacle, and the Sugababes are set to throw an unforgettable party!

Once again, it’s important to note that the event isn’t just about the main acts; this year, we believe we have an exceptional selection of DJs – from Annie Mac to Erol Alkan, Congo Natty to Greg Wilson, along with some remarkable live performances by The Zutons, Lightning Seeds, Goldie with his Drum & Bass performance, and family-friendly activities like Barrioke, Mr. Tumble, Horrible Histories, and Dick & Dom. This is just a taste of what’s in store.

‘See you in August for a whole lot more!’ Rob da Bank, Festival Curator.’
