Sir Rod Stewart, 81, is roped into karaoke session in Scottish pub during night out with son Alastair, 20

Rod Stewart unexpectedly found himself doing karaoke while out in Falkirk, Scotland on Wednesday night.

The 81-year-old musician was enjoying a drink at a neighborhood pub when people doing karaoke invited him to join in and sing.

The hitmaker was seen singing along to Have You Ever Seen the Rain by Creedence Clearwater Revival. 

He was joined by his two sons: Alastair, age 20, and Aiden, 14. Both boys are from his marriage with Penny Lancaster.

Rod gave one of the punters a hug and said, ‘cheers everybody God bless’ on his way out. 

The famous musician recently revealed what he wants to happen after he passes away, as his wife, Penny, publicly shared a heartfelt message about her husband.

Rod reflected on where he would he would like to be buried when the time comes.

In the BBC One special, My Life At Christmas, the couple open up in an interview with journalist Anita Rani, filmed at their large home, Durrington House.

During the show, Rod apparently mentioned he wants to be buried in his garden, right next to their dog Bubbles’ grave.

In an interview with The Mirror before the TV special, Penny expressed her love for her husband, calling their connection a wonderful surprise and a true gift.

He said: ‘You don’t want to talk about the end but he’s like, “Look it happens to all of us”.’

Penny suggested they might need a family cemetery on the property, which would legally have to be included in the deed. This means anyone who buys the land would also be responsible for maintaining the Stewart family’s burial ground.

Later in the chat, Penny shared an emotional tribute to her husband of 18 years.

She expressed how grateful she was to have found each other and brought the family closer, saying it was deeply moving.

Rod Stewart and Penny Lancaster shared their Christmas traditions in a BBC One interview with Anita Rani, which aired on December 7th.

Rod has eight children over 47 years by five different mothers. 

Rod Stewart has four daughters: Sarah, 61, from his relationship with Susannah Boffey; Kimberly, 45, with Alana Stewart; Ruby, 37, with Kelly Emberg; and Renee, 33, with Rachel Hunter.

He is also father to sons Sean, 44, with Alana Stewart and Liam, 30, whose mother is Rachel Hunter.
