Sir Rod Stewart, 80, Dazzles with Knighthood Pendant at LA FireAid Concert with Wife Penny

Sir Rod Stewart donned his Knight’s emblem, accompanying his spouse Penny Lancaster prior to his performance at the FireAid concert in Los Angeles on Thursday evening.

The renowned 80-year-old singer, who was previously honored for his contributions to music and charity in 2016, graced a high-profile event last week that raised funds for those affected by the recent devastating fires in Los Angeles.

At the beginning of this month, multiple fires erupted throughout the area, consuming vast swathes of land, damaging local businesses, and destroying homes, including those of long-term residents and well-known personalities. Regrettably, the current death toll stands at 29.

Before his performance, Sir Rod adorned himself with an “accelerate” necklace and presented a fashionable appearance in a sparkling, gem-studded suit on the red carpet.

He finished off his look by spiking his hair into its distinctive style, paired with fashionable loafers and a red silk handkerchief tucked neatly in the pocket.

While Penny, aged 53, was present at Rod’s investiture at Buckingham Palace with their children Alastair (now 19) and Aiden (13), she turned heads in a stylish leather miniskirt.

Previously known as a Loose Women cast member, she showcased a particularly leg-baring outfit, pairing it with a sleek black blouse, fishnet stockings, and ankle-high boots.

Later, Penny donned a synthetic fur coat and stood by her spouse, cheering him on, before he took the stage for his performance.

The star-studded charity event showcased the talents of Lady Gaga, Billie Eilish, Alanis Morissette, Olivia Rodrigo, Pink, and Joni Mitchell as well.

In 2016, during an interview on Loose Women, Penny mentioned that their sons found it hard to comprehend they were invited to Buckingham Palace to witness their father receiving an honor. As she reminisced about the occasion, she emphasized its uniqueness and significance.

She said: ‘The boys were hanging onto him for dear life afterwards. They were so proud.’

To ensure they wouldn’t be tardy for the event, Penny disclosed that her family had booked a hotel close by the day before, given their residence being two hours away from London.

She said: ‘Rod was singing, ‘I’m getting knighted in the morning,’ on our way there.

As a devoted follower, I shared with Aiden the captivating tale of Paddington Bear’s visit to the Queen the eve before. Consequently, upon our arrival, his enthusiasm was palpable and contagious.

As Rod donned a jacket reminiscent of military attire and matching tartan pants, accessorized by unique footwear for the event, Penny mentioned that her sons also enjoy dressing up similarly.

‘They loved wearing their suits,’ she told the panel. ‘They love dressing up like their fathers.’

Additionally, Penny mentioned that although she didn’t catch what Prince William said during the knighting of Rod, her spouse shared the details with her later on.

William told him, “We believe this honor is truly deserved by you,” she disclosed.

At a later time, we observed the Queen present at the Royal Academy of Arts, where she extended her congratulations to Rod.

After Penny launched another criticism towards Gregg Wallace, it was Rod who subsequently appeared on stage, following the ongoing investigation into allegations of sexual misconduct against the Celebrity MasterChef host.

In November, the artist famous for “Maggie May” launched an angry outburst at Wallace, labeling him a rude, bald, and overweight bully due to his alleged mistreatment of his wife during her appearance on Celebrity MasterChef in 2021.

Later on, Lancaster acknowledged that she hadn’t realized her husband would publicly address the dispute, and this revelation provided her with the strength to share her own thoughts and feelings.

At the moment, she clarified, “Perhaps you think, ‘Could it be just me? Will I be ignored?’ But then, unexpectedly, others rally behind you, making you believe that your voice will be heard.

Currently, Lancaster stands more confident in her assertions, launching another criticism. She labels Wallace as a ‘spoiled fruit’ or ‘rotten to the core’.

Inquired whether her past reality TV involvement had deterred her from participating again, Lancaster shared with TopMob: “Absolutely not. Mostly, numerous protective measures are implemented.

On Loose Women, I always have an amazing experience, one that I truly enjoy, and I always feel incredibly supported. Similarly, Strictly Come Dancing was an exceptional place where I spent a wonderful time.

‘Sometimes it’s just a bad apple, and that bad core needs to be removed.’

TopMob has contacted Wallace’s representatives for comment.

Viewers may recall Lancaster exiting Celebrity MasterChef in tears during the year 2021, following Wallace’s stern reprimand for delaying her dish and his subsequent refusal to partake in eating it.

At the given moment, she posted on Instagram: “Once you understand that a person’s actions are usually rooted in their personal battles rather than about you, you develop grace.

After Greg Wallace left the Master Chef program, Stewart delivered an angry response, stating something like: “Greg Wallace was let go from Master Chef.

I’m glad to see you gone, Wallace! You know, you embarrassed my wife on the show, but it seems they edited out that part, right? I can’t help but feel relieved that you won’t have a chance to do it again.

‘You’re a tubby, bald-headed, ill-mannered bully. Karma got ya. Sir Rod Stewart.’
