Sir Rod Stewart, 79, and leather-clad wife Penny Lancaster, 53, join son Alistair, 18, at WellChild Awards – after shutting down marriage ‘rift’ rumours

As an ardent fan who has followed Rod Stewart’s life journey for decades, I must say that witnessing the iconic rockstar and his beautiful family at the WellChild Awards was nothing short of heartwarming. The Stewart-Lancaster clan exuded love, unity, and timeless style on the red carpet. It’s always a delight to see Rod in his signature sharp outfits, but this time, it was Alistair who stole the show with his dapper double-breasted grey suit.

Sir Rod Stewart, accompanied by his wife Penny Lancaster, were also joined by their son Alistair at the WellChild Awards held at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London on Monday.

The veteran rocker, aged 79, exuded elegance in a sleek black jacket, complementing it with striped pants and striking silver loafers.

Concurrently, Penny, formerly of Loose Women and a mother to 13-year-old Aiden by the musician, adorned a sleek, form-fitting leather pencil skirt and elegant blouse.

18-year-old Alistair donned an elegant double-breasted grey suit for the glamorous event, standing tall among his well-known father’s peers.

The family smiled brightly as they made their way onto the red carpet before the event, quickly putting an end to whispers about a strain in Penny and Rod’s marriage, who tied the knot in 2007.

Besides being a father figure, Rod is also the dad to four daughters – Sarah (age 60), Kimberly (44), Ruby (36), and Renee (32) – as well as four sons, Sean (43) and Liam (29), from past relationships.

On Friday Penny hit backs at claims of troubles in her marriage  as she serenaded her husband singing Greece’s Hopelessly Devoted To You.

It seems they’ve been tirelessly attempting to save their 17-year-long marriage, as Rod has unexpectedly decided against selling his £55million home in Beverly Hills and moving back permanently to the UK, which was part of their original plans.

However, a video snippet revealed that despite their apparent affection, Penny seemed to express feelings other than love as she sang into the microphone, while her spouse admired her performance attentively during the unveiling of “Hopelessly Devoted” at The Ned London.

Penny embodied elegance, sparkling in a fitting gown that flowed to the floor, boasting an autumn-inspired floral design.

For the grand evening, Penny styled her blonde locks into a voluminous bouncey blowout.

While she gracefully performed an enchanting song, showcasing her elegant style, Rod admired her from afar with deep affection.

At the lavish event, Rod stood out in a striking two-piece with a black and silver pattern, worn over a pristine white shirt and black tie.

At an event I recently attended, I found myself sharing some delightful moments with a companion. We exchanged warm embraces, and for a brief moment, we harmonized beautifully during a spirited karaoke performance – creating a cozy atmosphere that made the evening truly special.

The evening was designed to celebrate the incredible bond between humans and their pets. 

Mark Aldridge developed “Hopelessly Devoted” with the aim of aiding a petite charity organization, Celia Hammond Animal Trust, who are currently facing a severe financial crisis.

The couple was reportedly striving hard to salvage their 17-year-old marriage, as the musician unexpectedly withdrew from their agreement to sell their $74 million Beverly Hills residence and move back to the UK.

After Rod mentioned that they would move from their life in Los Angeles to a vast countryside property in Harlow, Essex valued at around £4 million, following his disclosure of his intention to depart the United States last year, the event transpired.

But DailyMail.com reported the pair are now at a ‘stalemate,’ with Rod refusing to leave LA.
